Cambridge (Ga.) accomplished something that no one else in Georgia had been able to do in three years — topple Milton (Ga.) — to send shockwaves through the USA Lacrosse High School Girls' National Top 25 and Regional Top 10 rankings.
Meanwhile Stone Ridge (Md.) has returned to the Mid-Atlantic Top 10 after a five-win week, part of a daunting nine-game, 13-day stretch.

Mid-Atlantic Top 10
Stone Ridge (Md.) moves back into the Mid-Atlantic Region rankings and Penn Charter (Pa.) climbs despite a pair of losses to two of the region’s top teams.
Stone Ridge won all five games it played in the week, and the finally healthy Gators handed Agnes Irwin (Pa.) their first loss of the year to leapfrog them in the rankings. Stone Ridge’s success also pushed up Penn Charter, one of the teams to upend them earlier in the season.
Maryvale (Md.) bounced back from its only loss of the year and a Good Counsel (Md.) team that has been injury-riddled dropped out of the Top 10. Manchester Valley (Md.) is the final Top-10 team to get underway this week.

1. Episcopal (Pa.), 5-0
The Churchwomen delivered another pair of dominant wins. They held Penn Charter (Pa.) in check for a 13-3 win and took a 14-5 win over Good Counsel (Md.). Quinn Whitaker put up huge numbers against Good Counsel with six goals, seven draw controls, two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Nora Bailer won 11 draws. Sofia Gagliardi, Maeve Irish and Maya Le all scored twice apiece. Episcopal hosts Potomac and then faces McDonogh (Md.) in a showdown of the region’s top two teams. Previous: 1
2. McDonogh (Md.), 4-0
The Eagles earned a tight 9-8 win over St. Anne’s-Belfield (Va.) in their lone game of the week. Byers Martin made all three shots that she took, including a pair from 8-meter. She also caused two turnovers as McDonogh remained perfect. They host Roland Park (Md.) and then challenge Episcopal (Pa.) for the region’s top spot. Previous: 2
3. Archbishop Spalding (Md.), 2-0
Maeve Cavanaugh did a bit of everything in the Cavaliers’ 16-5 win over Mount de Sales (Md.). The Notre Dame commit scored five goals, had three assists, won eight draw controls and caused four turnovers. Spalding faces Manheim Township (Pa.) and Garrison Forest (Md.) this week. Previous: 3
4. St. Paul's (Md.), 3-1
The Gators crossed regions for a quality 8-6 win at American Heritage-Delray (Fla.). St. Paul’s also handed Penn Charter (Pa.) a 15-6 defeat. They’ll host Notre Dame (Md.) and play at Glenelg Country Day (Md.) this week. Previous: 4
5. Penn Charter (Pa.), 4-2
The Quakers ran into two of the best teams in the country to start their week before Ana Buckley’s second goal of the game gave them an 8-7 win over Bryn Mawr (Md.) in double overtime. Molly Dougherty posted a hat trick, Mak Myers won six ground balls and seven draw controls. Maeve Magarity made nine saves. Penn Charter lost to Episcopal (Pa.) and St. Paul’s (Md.) earlier in the week. PC will host Potomac (Va.) and play at Noble & Greenough (Mass.) and Sacred Heart (Conn.). Previous: 8
6. Stone Ridge (Md.), 6-3
An arduous early schedule has been all the tougher with the flu hitting the team as hard as any opponent. They have rattled off four straight wins since getting healthy, and five in a row overall – all last week beginning with victories against St. John’s College (D.C.), Glenelg Country Day (Md.) – highlighted by four goals and four assists from sophomore Chloe Cassidy – and Holton Arms (Md.) in three straight days. Then came a particularly impressive 11-8 win over Agnes Irwin (Pa.) with senior Sarah White scoring a hat trick. The week closed with an 11-3 win over Midwest Region power New Trier (Ill.). 7. Agnes Irwin (Pa.) 4-1
The Owls reeled off two more wins to start their season before finally dropping a game. Agnes Irwin opened the week with a 13-10 win over Manheim Township (Pa.) fueled by four goals and two assists from Mairyn Dwyer. She also had eight draw controls. Caroline Chisholm, Catie Holmes, Rowan Lawrence and Kelsey Young all had two goals apiece. Chelsea Kim made five saves. They added a 15-7 win over Good Counsel (Md.) before dropping an 11-8 decision to Stone Ridge (Md.). The Owls try to get back on track with a game against Springside Chestnut Hill (Pa.). Previous: 6
8. Maryvale (Md.) 4-1
The Lions pulled out a pair of close games. They edged Good Counsel (Md.) 11-10 to start their week, then took a 12-11 win over John Carroll (Md.) to open IAAM play. Maryvale jumped out to a 9-2 halftime lead before the game tightened in the second half. The Lions play at St. Mary’s (Md.) in their lone contest this week. Previous: 7
9. Manchester Valley (Md.), 0-0
The Mavericks will finally open their season at home against Winters Mill. They finish the week with the 4 Causes 4 Champions tournament starting with Broadneck (Md.) on March 30. Previous: 9
10. St. Anne's-Belfield (Va.), 2-2
The Saints dropped a game to McDonogh (Md.) but came back with wins over Collegiate (Va.) and Bishop Ireton (Va.). Allison Hankins (Syracuse) finished with a hat trick and nine draw controls and Stuart King (Virginia) had two goals and two assists in a 12-10 win over Collegiate. Another Virginia commit, Raleigh Foster, scored seven goals, while Hankins had six points on four goals and two assists and King had a goal and three assists in a 16-6 win over Bishop Ireton. After a scheduled game against St. John’s College (D.C.), STAB goes on the road to Georgetown Visitation (D.C.) and Potomac (Va.) this week. Previous: 10

South Top 10
Cambridge (Ga.) kept the South Region front and center in the rankings discussions.
The Bears beat Milton (Ga.) – the first in-state team to top them in three years. The win put their two early season losses in the rearview mirror and elevated them all the way to No. 3, behind IMG Academy (Fla.) which used another impressive out-of-region win over Colorado Academy (Colo.) to move to No. 2. Lake Highland (Fla.) is the lone newcomer in the South rankings at No. 8 after performing well against a strong schedule.

1. American Heritage-Delray (Fla.), 10-1
The Stallions took their first loss of the year, losing to national powerhouse St. Paul’s Girls (Md.) 8-6. American Heritage-Delray bounced back with an 11-6 win over Georgetown Visitation (D.C.) and a 20-5 victory over Germantown Academy (Pa.). Previous: 1
2. IMG Academy (Fla.), 6-2
The Ascenders dropped their second contest in a row, falling to Sacred Heart (Conn.) 9-7. IMG recovered with a 19-8 win over Colorado Academy (Colo.). Taylor Santos had four goals and two assists in the win. Previous: 3
3. Cambridge (Ga.), 8-2
The Bears pulled out a dramatic 8-7 victory over Milton (Ga.) in a showdown of two of the state’s most storied programs, giving Milton its first in-state loss in three years. The win also marked Cambridge’s first-ever victory over Milton, with goalie Gabby Dowdle stepping up late. Previous: 9
4. Hockaday (Texas), 6-1
The Daisies enjoyed a well-earned week off following their thrilling 13-12 win over Bryn Mawr (Md.) on March 16. Previous: 4
5. Milton (Ga.), 8-1
For the first time since 2022, the Eagles lost to an in-state opponent, falling to Cambridge (Ga.) 8-7. Milton also picked up an 18-8 win over Lassiter (Ga.) last week. Previous: 2
6. Anderson (Texas), 6-0
The Trojans are in the midst of their spring break and will return to action to face St. Stephen’s (Texas). Jillian Murphy has a team-leading 28 goals so far this year. Previous: 6
7. Plant (Fla.), 12-0
The Panthers are enjoying a 12-day break with a 12-0 record, with McKenzey Craig leading the way with 62 points thus far this year. Plant returns to play this week to face Freedom (Fla.). Previous: 7
8. Lake Highland (Fla.), 9-3
The Highlanders have faced a challenging schedule to start the season, with all three of their losses coming against the region’s top three squads. Lake Highland picked up an overtime victory over West Forsyth (Ga.) after dominating victories over Episcopal Dallas (Texas) and Bartram (Fla.). Freshman Giselle Jaskiewicz is Lake Highland’s leading scorer with 38 points. Previous: NR
9. Lake Mary (Fla.), 9-2
The Rams fell 9-7 to West Forsyth (Ga.), ending a six-game winning streak that had culminated in a victory over Cambridge (Ga.). Lake Mary has Winter Springs (Fla.) up next. Previous: 8

Midwest Top 10
A pair of unbeatens Hinsdale Central (Ill.) and Guerin Catholic (Ind.) ride their fast starts into the Midwest Region rankings.
Loyola Academy (Ill.) still sets the pace for the region, while New Trier (Ill.) is No. 2 with its only loss coming out of region. Kentucky Country Day (Ky.) also lost a pair of games to Georgia teams, but the competition should help down the line.
Hinsdale Central comes in at No. 4 after defeating No. 5 Carmel (Ind.). Guerin Catholic landed at No. 6 after a win over No. 9 Upper Arlington (Ohio).

1. Loyola Academy (Ill.), 3-0
The Ramblers were dominant in their first three games, outscoring in-state foes Evanston, Mother McAuley and Fenwick by a combined total of 54-7. Loyola Academy takes on some premium foes to round out March, including solid California competition in La Costa Canyon and Torrey Pines, followed by top Chicagoland foes like New Trier and Lake Forest in early April. 2. New Trier (Ill.), 2-1
The Trevians topped a pair of strong opponents in York (Ill.) and Lightridge (Va.) before falling to nationally ranked Stone Ridge (Md.). Six Trevians players scored multiple goals against the Dukes, including hat tricks from seniors Ellie Bornhoeft, Sonja Keneally and Matty Meier, as well as junior Avery Anderson. And six New Trier players once again scored multiple goals in the team's win over Lightridge. Previous: 2
3. Olentangy Liberty (Ohio), 1-0
The Patriots began their 2025 season with a win, topping Manatee by a goal, to kick off their three-game Sunshine State swing. Seniors Corinna Hilmas (4 goals), Molly Brooks (3 goals, 1 assist) and Madeline Pohmer (2 goals, 1 assist) led the way for Liberty, with junior Aubrey Bartosik (1 goal, 3 assists) playing a key facilitating role. 4. Hinsdale Central (Ill.), 3-0
The Red Devils entered the rankings in a big way, including an 11-6 victory over Indiana state champion Carmel. Logan O'Connor was particularly effective against the Greyhounds with 12 draw controls while Maggie Conley had a goal and four assists and Makenna Schultz added six saves. Ella Parker-Briones came up huge a day later against Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.) with five goals, including the game-winner in overtime. Previous: NR
5. Carmel (Ind.), 3-1
The Greyhounds started the week with a dominant win over Center Grove in a battle of Indiana state champs, with seniors Breckin Hare, Sophie Mock and Riley Putnam all notching hat tricks and another senior Elle Tomalia tallying four assists. Three days later, Carmel was locked in a tight game against Hinsdale Central (Ill.) at the half before the Red Devils took over the third quarter. The Greyhounds have plenty of chances to redeem themselves, including a clash with Michigan runner-up Detroit Country Day Saturday followed by a Hoosier State title game rematch against Guerin Catholic April 1. 6. Guerin Catholic (Ind.), 9-0
The Golden Eagles have long been one of Indiana's top teams alongside Carmel. They firmly established themselves among this year's Midwest elite this weekend with wins over Ohio's Upper Arlington and Worthington Kilbourne. Beating the Golden Bears, last year's Buckeye State runner-up, was especially impressive as Caroline Ford scored the first three goals of the game for Guerin Catholic and Claire Flannagan had the game-winner in overtime. Ford (33 goals, 6 assists) and Gabriella Deer (30 goals, 12 assists) have been stellar for Guerin Catholic, which is yielding just 3.7 goals per game. Previous: NR
7. New Albany (Ohio), 1-0
The Eagles' first game was far from easy as Cincinnati power Mason hung with New Albany early. Up a goal late in the first half, the Eagles went on a run to take a much bigger lead into the intermission, dominating the draw en route to a 14-9 victory. Logan Snyder stood out with four goals and two assists while fellow sophomore Elliana Ritchey added three goals and an assist. New Albany doesn't play again until April, when it visits St. Francis DeSales (Ohio) and takes on one of Illinois' best in Hinsdale Central. Previous: 7
8. Kentucky Country Day (Ky.), 3-2
The Bearcats absorbed their first losses of the season, falling by three to Roswell, a top-ten team in Georgia, and by a wider margin to Lambert, also of Georgia. Even so, Kentucky Country Day's balance has been impressive with four players already racking up double-digit goals through five games: Ellie Beam (14 goals), Preston Amin (12 goals), Ceci Flowers (11 goals) and Leighton Spears (10 goals, 11 assists). 9. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 1-1
The Golden Bears dropped their 2025 opener by a single goal against Guerin Catholic, always one of Indiana's top teams. Fortunately for Upper Arlington, there was no time to mope, as it dominated against Sacred Heart Academy (Ky.) the very next day, with Ellie King scoring five first-quarter goals to spur the Golden Bears to a 6-0 lead at the first quarter break. 10. Benet Academy (Ill.), 1-0
Last year's state runner-up, the Redwings lost one of their all-time best players in Shannon Earley, who's now at Notre Dame. Still, Benet returns plenty of thunder, including Gigi Kurelko (81 goals, 30 assists) and Madeline Trapp, who led last year's team with 60 assists. The Redwings demonstrated their explosiveness with 17 goals in their opening win over Naperville North. Previous: 8

West Top 10
The West Region is led by the unbeaten tandem of No. 1 Sacred Heart (Calif.) and No. 2 St. Ignatius (Calif.).
St. Ignatius picked up a win over previous No. 2 Valor Christian (Colo.) in a key in-region scrum. No. 4 Del Oro (Calif.) lost for the first time but its win over Oak Ridge (Calif.) still carries value.
Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.) boasts a 9-0 mark after going unbeaten in Arizona. Colorado Academy (Colo.) remains in the rankings at 1-3 after falling out of region in another challenging game.

Sacred Heart stays on top after dominant performances against Redwood in a 12-4 win and a 17-2 victory over St. Francis (Calif.). The Gators host Menlo School (Calif.) and Menlo Atherton (Calif.) this week. Previous: 1

St. Ignatius stays undefeated after picking up a big top-10 win over then-No. 2 Valor Christian (Colo.), 6-5. Then the Wildcats defeated Regis Jesuit (Colo.) in another narrow victory, 12-10. 3. Valor Christian (Colo.), 3-1

Oak Ridge went 3-0 last week, defeating Davis (Calif.), 15-7, and St. Francis (Calif.), 16-2. The Trojans went on edge No. 10 San Ramon Valley (Calif.), 12-10. 6. Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.) 9-0
Foothill-Santa Ana went 2-0 on its Arizona road trip, defeating the 2024 state champions Chandler (Ariz.), 17-9 before shutting out Higley (Ariz.), 15-0.
