Whereas there were a lot of new teams in the USA Lacrosse High School Girls' Regional Top 10 rankings last week, the latest update features just two newcomers. Regional hierarchies have solidified each week with teams finding their strides.
Severna Park (Md.) picked up its second one-goal win of the season. The Falcons' overtime win over Broadneck (Md.) that followed a significant win over IAAM team Archbishop Spalding (Md.) gave them a spot in the Mid-Atlantic ranking.
Cathedral Catholic (Calif.) joined the West ranking on the strength of a head-to-head win over then-No. 5 Oak Ridge (Calif.) and a narrow loss to unbeaten Coronado (Calif.). ThunderRidge (Colo.), Mira Costa (Calif.) and Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.) all move up with Cathedral Catholic's win.
Bayport-Blue Point (N.Y.) and Westhampton (N.Y.) made the biggest moves up in the Northeast ranking. Both are unbeaten. Sacred Heart Greenwich (Conn.) dropped after its first loss.
The South ranking was unchanged, but with state playoffs picking up, there are opportunities everywhere.
Loyola Academy (Ill.) asserted its top billing in the Midwest with a win over New Trier (Ill.). Thomas Worthington (Ohio) added a rare tie to its record, but the ranking remains intact top to bottom.

NORTHEAST Top 10
The Northeast Region is still finding its shape as teams get deeper into their schedules and find their groove. St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) and Darien (Conn.) have set the tone early on, and the two bluebloods meet this week for more definitive data on just who is No. 1.
Bayport-Blue Point (N.Y.) vaulted up to No. 5 after handing Victor (N.Y.) their first loss. Westhampton (N.Y.) slides up to No. 4 with two more wins to remain perfect. A strong win over Rye (N.Y.) helped New Canaan (Conn.) also make a small jump.
Garden City (N.Y.) climbs even after a loss — thanks to taking unbeaten Darien to overtime. The quality loss showed they’re still a Top 10 team.

1. St. Anthony’s (N.Y.), 5-0
Anna Christie, Emma Speed and Kat Rathjen each had three goals and one assist, Molly Hiney netted a hat trick and Madison Sussi had two goals and one assist to lead the Friars to a 16-3 win over Sacred Heart (N.Y.). A massive showdown against Darien (Conn.) is up next. Previous: 1

Morgan Hite (Cornell) scored the overtime winner as the Blue Wave edged Garden City (N.Y.) 11-10. Anna Von Kennel (Florida) had a hat trick, Annabell Adams (Virginia) and Caleigh Cummiskey (Bucknell) added two goals apiece and Hope Hapgood (Dartmouth) added a goal for Darien. Previous: 2
3. Bayport-Blue Point (N.Y.), 5-0
Ava Meyn (Maryland) had four goals and one assist, Olivia Brady and Kailey Bruckner (Towson) scored three goals apiece, Aubrie Eisfeld (Clemson) had one goal and four assists and Eva Carvalho (Albany) added one goal and one assist in a 13-10 win at Victor (N.Y.). Previous: 5
4. Westhampton (N.Y.), 6-0
Ava Derby (Maryland) had four goals, two assists and 10 draw controls, Reese King (North Carolina) had four goals and two assists, Maiya Boughal (Dartmouth) had four goals and Mackenzie Klammer added two goals and one assist in a 15-8 win over Shoreham-Wading River (N.Y.). Previous: 6

Sydney Patten (Penn) had five goals and two assists, Emma Row (Columbia) had four goals and three assists and Ashton Pinkernell (Colgate) had four goals and one assist in a 15-7 win over Morristown (N.J.), which came on the heels of an 8-7 victory over Rye (N.Y.). Previous: 7
6. Victor (N.Y.), 2-1
Maia Pronti (Georgetown) had three goals and two assists, Allie Pisano netted three goals and had four draw controls and Julia Bruno (Pittsburgh) had two goals and one assist in a 13-10 loss to Bayport-Blue Point (N.Y.). Previous: 4
7. Smithtown West (N.Y.), 5-0
Kate Theofield had four goals, Jolie Schiavo, Madison Nuzzi and Ashley Mennella scored two goals apiece, Vanessa Pollina had one goal and two assists and Alyssa Lorefice had three assists in a 14-2 win over Hauppauge (N.Y.). Previous: 8
8. Garden City (N.Y.), 4-1
Led by Kyle Finnell (Northwestern), who scored three goals and Averie Smith (Yale), who struck twice, the Trojans rallied from a 9-5 deficit in the third quarter to force overtime on Deanna Prisco’s (Northwestern) second goal with 8.8 seconds left in regulation in an 11-10 overtime loss at Darien (Conn.). 9. Sacred Heart (Conn.), 7-1
The Tigers cooled off a bit from a red-hot start to the season, losing 10-5 to Chatham (N.J.) on Saturday, with the Cougars burying three empty-net goals in the final moments. Sacred Heart Greenwich will look to bounce back against Lawrenceville (N.J.) this week. Previous: 3
10. Sayville (N.Y.), 3-1
Sofia Cangelosi had three goals and one assist, Morgan Farrell struck for a hat trick, Dylan McNamara had two goals and two assists and Leah Babcock added a pair of goals in a 16-6 win over Miller Place (N.Y.). Previous: 10

Mid-Atlantic Top 10
Public powers are making their presence felt in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Severna Park (Md.) entered the rankings after a perfect week in which they pulled out an overtime win after they knocked off an IAAM team, Archbishop Spalding (Md.), that has been bitten by the injury bug. Chatham (N.J.) too is pushing for a spot after an impressive unbeaten in-state and out-of-state start to the season.
St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.) made a significant move up after knocking off Stone Ridge (Md.). Good Counsel (Md.) continues to find its way after overcoming some early losses.
Manchester Valley (Md.) will try to keep newcomer Severna Park at bay when they meet this week.

1. Episcopal (Pa.), 11-0
The Churchwomen blew out Germantown Academy (Pa.) and Springside Chestnut Hill (Pa.) this week. Kate Dente had four goals and Maura Irish and Quinn Whitaker had hat tricks in a 16-2 win over Germantown. The three also had two goals apiece along with Caroline Johnston, Nora Bailer, Teagan Cook and Maeve Irish in an 18-1 win over Springside. Bailer had 13 draw controls in the two games combined. Their one game this week is a big one against Agnes Irwin (Pa.). Previous: 1
2. McDonogh (Md.), 9-1
Payton Magday scored a hat trick and Ava Fossati had a goal and assist in a 9-5 win over St. Paul’s (Md.). Reagan O’Donovan stopped seven shots, caused a turnover and came up with two ground balls. Fossati scored seven times and Magday had four goals in a 14-11 win over Bryn Mawr (Md.). The Eagles play two games on the road this week against IAAM foes Glenelg Country (Md.) and Maryvale (Md.). 3. St. Paul's (Md.), 7-3
The Gators split their IAAM games last week. After falling to McDonogh (Md.) they were able to get back on track with a 10-6 win over Roland Park (Md.). St. Paul’s faces Severn (Pa.) in their only game this week. Previous: 3
4. Agnes Irwin (Pa.), 8-1
The Owls pummeled Hun (N.J.) 21-1 to start the week, then got a huge effort from Kelsey Young in a 17-6 win over rival Notre Dame Academy (Pa.). Young, a sophomore, had five goals and an assist and has keyed Agnes Irwin’s transition game while amassing 21 goals on the year. Mairyn Dwyer and Catie Holmes added four goals apiece. Dwyer also had nine draws. The Owls’ only game this week is the showdown against Episcopal (Pa.). Previous: 6
5. Maryvale (Md.), 8-2
The Lions were convincing winners over Severn (Md.) and Notre Dame (Md.). They handed Severn another IAAM loss, 13-8, and then ripped Notre Dame, 15-6. They face a big week in the IAAM with Archbishop Spalding (Md.) and McDonogh (Md.) both visiting. Previous: 7
6. St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.), 12-1
After beating Oakton (Va.) 16-1, the Saints picked up a key 10-8 Independent School League AA game victory over Stone Ridge (Md.). In their Spring Fling they handed Langley (Va.) a lopsided loss and bolted out to a 14-4 halftime lead on their way to a big win over Loyola (Ill.) too. Lillian Israel scored 14 goals and dished out eight assists in the week. SSSA faces Bullis (Md.) and Collegiate (Va.) this week. Previous: 10
7. Stone Ridge (Md.), 12-4
The Gators saw their nine-game win streak end with a 10-8 loss to St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.). They came back to sweep a pair of games at SSSA’s Spring Fling. The Gators won a tight one over St. Anne’s-Belfield (Va.) 13-11 and eased by Paul IV (Va.) 17-4 at SSSA’s Spring Fling. The play at Potomac (Va.) this week. Previous: 4
8. Good Counsel (Md.), 11-3
The Falcons flew high through four more wins in a week. They beat Bishop O’Connell (Va.) 24-8 and defeated Bishop Ireton (Va.) 17-7 to start the week. At SSSA’s Spring Fling, they swept their games against Potomac (Va.) and Collegiate (Va.). Another balanced effort helped the Falcons continue their second-half season push. They face Bishop McNamara (Va.) in their only game this week. Previous: 8
9. Manchester Valley (Md.), 5-0
Taylor Fique scored seven goals and had an assist and Emma Penczek fired in five goals and assisted on three others in a 17-5 win over South Carroll (Md.). Penczek is one goal away from her 259th that would make her the third all-time leading scorer in Carroll County history. Molly Pulliam made five saves. Manchester Valley will play at Severna Park (Md.) in a huge matchup this week. Previous: 9
10. Severna Park (Md.), 7-0
Payton Jeffers scored her second goal of the game in the third overtime for an 8-7 win over Broadneck (Md.). Maria Bragg also had a pair of goals, including the goal that forced overtime. Bella Van Gieson also scored twice, and Erin Hussey had a goal and three assists. The week began with a 10-6 win over Archbishop Spalding (Md.). The Falcons took a 6-5 halftime lead and pulled away in the fourth quarter. Hussey, Bragg, Ava Deegan and Van Gieson all scored twice. They take on Manchester Valley this week. Previous: NR

South Top 10
American Heritage-Delray (Fla.), Plant (Fla.) and Ponte Vedra (Fla.) all kicked off their state playoffs with easy wins to hold their spots in the South Region. None of the Top 10 teams lost a game.
Both Georgia teams had byes through the week and IMG Academy (Fla.) didn’t play either as their season winds down. Texas juggernauts Hockaday and Anderson made quick work of their foes, and Providence Day (N.C.) remained unbeaten.
Ponte Vedra might face the toughest matchup of the next round this week as it has a Bartram Trail (Fla.) team that it only beat by a goal two weeks ago.

1. American Heritage-Delray (Fla.), 13-2
The Stallions began postseason action with a 19-4 victory over St. John Paul II (Fla.). American Heritage-Delray has a challenging matchup this week against St. Andrew’s (Fla.). Previous: 1
2. Cambridge (Ga.), 11-2
The Bears had a bye week last week after an 18-1 win over Centennial (Ga.). Cambridge is back at it on April 15 to face Creekview (Ga.). Previous: 2
3. Milton (Ga.), 12-2
The Eagles had a bye week after their 7-6 victory over Potomac (Va.) on April 5. Milton’s next match comes April 17 versus North Gwinnett (Ga.). Previous: 3
4. IMG Academy (Fla.), 9-3
The Ascenders took a week off after their April 5 loss to American Heritage-Delray (Fla.). IMG returns to play April 16 to take on Garden City (N.Y.). Previous: 4
5. Hockaday (Texas), 12-1
Hockaday remains undefeated versus in-state opposition, toppling Greenhill School (Texas) 20-1 and Episcopal Dallas (Texas) 15-6. Previous: 4
6. Anderson (Texas), 11-0
The Trojans continue to get huge goal scoring from Jillian Murphy as Anderson remains unbeaten so far this year. Murphy’s 12 goals last week helped lead Anderson in wins over Austin (Texas), Cy-Fair (Texas) and Lamar (Texas). Previous: 6
7. Plant (Fla.), 18-0
Postseason action began with a 20-6 win for the Panthers over Steinbrenner (Fla.). McKenzey Craig had five goals and two assists while Katie Fisher contributed four tallies. Previous: 7
8. Providence Day (N.C.), 12-0
The Chargers’ undefeated start continued after a 13-10 win over Cannon (N.C.) and a 12-1 victory over Charlotte Catholic (N.C.). Providence Day next faces Charlotte Latin (N.C.). Previous: 8
9. Ponte Vedra (Fla.), 11-3
The Sharks’ postseason started in a similar manner as the finish to the regular season — with a dominating win over Nease (Fla.). Bartram Trail is next on Ponte Vedra’s schedule. Previous: 9
10. Lake Highland (Fla.), 13-4
It was a bye week for the Highlanders after their 9-8 win over Lake Mary (Fla.) closed out the regular season. Lake Highland’s playoff opener comes April 14 versus Orangewood Christian (Fla.). Previous: 10

Midwest Top 10
Loyola Academy (Ill.) won the highly anticipated 1-2 matchup over New Trier (Ill.) to keep the top spot in the Midwest Region rankings.
In fact, none of the rankings changed in the region despite plenty of action. That’s because No. 3 Olentangy Liberty (Ohio) knocked off No. 4 Thomas Worthington (Ohio) in their head-to-head meeting last week. And Thomas Worthington beat No. 6 Carmel (Ind.) when they met.
Kentucky Country Day (Ky.) returned to action with a win and Upper Arlington (Ohio) and St. Francis DeSales (Ohio) sustained their strong starts with perfect weeks. Olentangy Liberty will try to hold its spot this week with a pair of Top-10 matchups against Upper Arlington and Carmel.

1. Loyola Academy (Ill.), 9-2
The Ramblers topped leading rival New Trier (Ill.) 12-8 Tuesday before going 2-1 on their East Coast trip, edging Georgetown Visitation (D.C.) by a goal and beating Sidwell Friends (D.C.) by eight, before falling to nationally-ranked St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Va.) by a double-digit margin. Grace Dwyer and Molly Dwyer flourished against top competition, with Grace scoring seven goals against the Quakers and Molly scoring seven against the Tigers, including the overtime game-winner. The Ramblers showed their balance against the Trevians, with seniors Keira Cushing and Annie Devine and sophomore Kathleen Devine tallying four points apiece. Previous: 1
2. New Trier (Ill.), 5-3
The Trevians, per usual, were highly competitive with the Midwest-leading Ramblers, including a tie score after a quarter and knotting the game early in the fourth as well before falling 12-8. Senior Matty Meier and junior Avery Anderson each tallied hat tricks for New Trier, which went on to beat Brighton (Mich.) by a double-digit margin later in the week. Previous: 2
3. Olentangy Liberty (Ohio), 8-1
The Patriots put forward another strong week, topping three solid Buckeye State foes — Dublin Coffman, Jackson and Thomas Worthington — all by at least five goals. Madeline Pohmer delivered five-goal performances against both Dublin Coffman and Thomas Worthington while fellow senior Corinna Hilmas also scored five against the Shamrocks and added three goals and three assists against the Cardinals. 4. Thomas Worthington (Ohio), 2-2-1
The Cardinals' Galipault Wolford Classic continued to deliver great lacrosse, including the host team edging Indiana power Carmel by a goal and tying Dublin Coffman (Ohio). Making the Cardinals' win over the Greyhounds even better was the fact that the home team was able to rally from an 8-5 deficit, scoring the game-winner with roughly three minutes remaining. 5. Hinsdale Central (Ill.), 8-2
The Red Devils doubled up on Brighton, a very solid team out of Michigan, on Friday before edging in-state foe Lincoln-Way Central a day later. The latter was impressive in its own right as Hinsdale Central was able to prevail without seven starters, with Regan Kearney leading the way with four goals, two assists and seven draw controls. Kearney also impressed against the Bulldogs with two goals and five assists, while Ella Parker-Briones added six goals in the win over Brighton. Previous: 5
6. Carmel (Ind.), 6-2
The Greyhounds bounced back from a heartbreaking start to the Galipault Wolford Classic — as they were unable to hold a three-goal lead against host Thomas Worthington — with a win over Strongsville (Ohio) to round out their Buckeye State trip. Sophie Mock had a team-high five goals against the Cardinals, then added another hat trick against the Mustangs. Elle Tomalia also had hat tricks in both games, while Breckin Hare impressed with two goals and three assists in the first game. Previous: 6
7. Guerin Catholic (Ind.), 9-1
The Golden Eagles have had a long time to process their first loss, with a two-week break following their one-goal loss to Carmel on April 1. Guerin Catholic returns to action Wednesday when it travels to face a solid Bishop Chatard team. Previous: 7
8. Kentucky Country Day (Ky.), 6-2
The Bearcats didn't show much rust in their first game in a couple of weeks, topping Louisville Collegiate (Ky.) 12-2. Junior Ellie Beam led the way with three goals, four assists, three ground balls and three caused turnovers, while senior Leighton Spears, junior Ceci Flowers and sophomore Zaylee Madison also recorded hat tricks. 9. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 7-1
The Golden Bears topped in-state foes Hilliard Bradley, Medina and Worthington Kilbourne, all by eight-plus goals, to complete a 3-0 week. Senior Bethany Smith contributed four goals and two assists against the Wolves, Evie Ruma added a hat trick and fellow junior Ellie King had an absurd 18 draw controls. Previous: 9
10. St. Francis DeSales (Ohio), 8-1
In their first week in the top 10 this season, the Stallions continued to impress, topping in-state foes Bay, Bexley and Rocky River by a combined margin of 54-19. Juniors Anna Bogan (10 goals, 5 assists, 12 draw controls) and Campbell Heald (14 goals, 14 assists) had huge weeks, as did freshman Cortney Kelley (4 goals, 27 draw controls). Kelley's 12 draw controls against the Pirates set a program record. Previous: 10

West Top 10
St. Ignatius (Calif.) kept its unblemished record and its No. 1 ranking in the West Region.
The region welcomed one newcomer as Cathedral Catholic (Calif.) rode a Top-10 win over Oak Ridge (Calif.) into the rankings and they were only one goal short of versus No. 4 Coronado (Calif.) in another competitive meeting. Their win dropped Oak Ridge and subsequently Del Oro (Calif.), which had recently lost to Oak Ridge.
Coronado and No. 7 Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.) meet this week in another in-region test as teams gear up for the end of the regular season.
Our West rankings cover the Mountain, Pacific and Northwest regions and at least part of the Southwest.
1. St. Ignatius (Calif.), 12-0
After another undefeated week, the Wildcats improve to 7-0 in league play and have won four straight road games. St. Ignatius defeated Menlo School (Calif.), 10-4 then downed Archbishop Mitty (Calif.), 21-1. The road trips continue out east against Conestoga (Pa.), Oak Knoll (N.J.) and Mid-Atlantic public school No. 4 Moorestown (N.J.). Previous: 1
2. Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.), 12-1
Sacred Heart recorded its fifth conference win after dominating Archbishop Mitty (Calif.) 18-1 for the second time this spring. At Torrey Pines (Calif.), the Gators edged the Falcons 15-13, netting nine goals in the first half and holding their opponents to just four then Sacred Heart added six more to secure the victory. Next up is an 11-3 Cathedral Catholic (Calif.). Previous: 2
3. Valor Christian (Colo.), 6-1
The Eagles opened the week with a dominant 16-1 win over Poudre (Colo.) for their first league win before taking down Evergreen (Colo.), 14-10. Sisters Leele and Gia Bigelow each had four goals in game one and Micki Tanella netted the game-high four goals in game two. Conference play continues against Fairview (Colo.) and Kent Denver (Colo.). Previous: 3
4. Coronado (Calif.), 11-0
The Islanders continue their winning streak after going 3-0 last week in tight contests. Coronado showcased its prowess under pressure after taking down San Ramon Valley (Calif.), 9-7, edging out Cathedral Catholic (Calif.), 12-11 for its third league victory and topping La Costa Canyon (Calif.), 13-9. Up next is the West Region No. 3 public school Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.) and Scripps Ranch (Calif.). Previous: 4
5. ThunderRidge (Colo.), 6-1
ThunderRidge is riding a six-game winning streak and picked up its first league victory over Pine Creek (Colo.), downing the Eagles 16-5. Syracuse-bound Rocquette Allen led the charge with six goals, three assists and two ground balls. She also added four draw controls. Next are two more conference games, Palmer Ridge (Colo.) and Castle View (Colo.). Previous: 7
6. Mira Costa (Calif.), 15-0
The Mustangs look to protect their perfect record as they prepare for the final regular season match against Palos Verdes (Calif.) on the road. Previous: 8
7. Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.), 14-1
Foothill-Santa Ana dominated league foe Yorba Linda (Calif.) in a 19-2 defeat, led by seniors Addison Moon with three goals and Elle Vickers who had 13 draw possessions on 14 attempts. On deck is a trio of matchups against No. 4 Coronado (Calif.), Murrieta Mesa (Calif.) and Torrey Pines (Calif.). Previous: 9
8. Cathedral Catholic (Calif.), 12-3
The Dons find themselves in the rankings after upsetting then-No. 5 Oak Ridge (Calif.) in a narrow 11-9 victory. Cathedral Catholic opened the week with a 22-0 shutout against University City (Calif.) before falling 12-11 to No. 4 Coronado (Calif.). Next up is No. 2 Sacred Heart (Calif.) at home. Previous: NR
9. Oak Ridge (Calif.), 14-3
Oak Ridge kicked off the week with two dominant victories over league opponents Rocklin (Calif.) and Davis (Calif.) before falling 11-9 to Cathedral Catholic (Calif.). The Trojans are at Torrey Pines (Calif.) next week. Previous: 5
10. Del Oro (Calif.), 11-3
Coming off the heels of the loss to Oak Ridge (Calif.), Del Oro fell 14-10 at Davis (Calif.) before bouncing back to take down St. Francis (Calif.), 21-15. The Golden Eagles, who are 9-3 in league play, are nearing the end of their regular season with two more games left.
