1. LA28 Organizing Committee recommends lacrosse.

A years-long effort to help lacrosse return to the Olympics took an important step yesterday when the LA28 Organizing Committee announced its recommendation to be added to the 2028 Summer Olympic program. The Games will be held on U.S. soil in Los Angeles. Final approval requires a vote from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), slated for Oct. 15-17 in Mumbai, India.
