2025 Girls' U15 Youth National Team Named by USA Lacrosse
SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has named 24 of the nation’s top young girls’ lacrosse players to the 2025 U15 Youth National Team. The players were selected following evaluations at five regional ID clinics and virtual applications during the spring and early summer as part of the National Team Development Program
The U.S. Youth National Teams will compete during the Rivalry Challenge against their counterparts from Lacrosse Canada the weekend of September 18-21 at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md.
The National Team Development Program expanded this year to six total teams – boys’ and girls teams at the U15, U17 and U19 age groupings. More than 2,000 players around the country have participated in the process. Launched in 2019, the National Team Development Program provides high-level training for the nation’s top young players and acclimates them to the national team system.
Darcy Messina, the head coach at national power St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) High School, is the head coach for the U.S. Girls’ U15 Youth National Team and is assisted by Shanna Brady (University of Virginia), Madison Doucette (New York Charging – WLL) and Lisa Lindley (Darien High School – Conn.).
The National Team Development Program is sponsored by Capelli Sport, Gait Lacrosse, STX, MedStar Health, Athletic Republic, First Scout Productions, HotelPlanner and NCSA.
