34 Top Women's Lacrosse Players Invited to Training Camp Ahead of PALA Qualifier

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has invited 34 of the nation’s top women’s lacrosse players to a training camp in preparation for this year’s Pan-American Women’s Lacrosse Championship. The training camp for the field lacrosse team will take place from June 9-11 at USA Lacrosse headquarters.

Following the training camp, head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein and her staff will select the final 22-player roster for the Pan-American Lacrosse Association (PALA) continental qualifier, which will be held from June 26-30 in Auburndale, Fla. Eight teams – Argentina, Canada, Haudenosaunee, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and the United States – will be competing with the top four earning bids to the 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship in Japan.

Nearly half of the camp invitees (16) have won previous gold medals as part of the U.S. national team program: Sam Apuzzo (2022 field), Shea Baker (2024 U20), Shea Dolce (2024 U20), Brigid Duffy (2024 U20), Kori Edmondson (2024 U20), Ally Kennedy (2022 field, 2024 box), Emma LoPinto (2024 U20), Ally Mastroianni (2022 field, 2024 box), Marie McCool (2017 field, 2022 field), Taylor Moreno (2024 box), Emma Muchnick (2024 U20), Charlotte North (2022 field, 2024 box), Reagan O’Brien (2024 U20), Izzy Scane (2019 U19), Madison Taylor (2024 U20) and Caylee Waters (2022 field).

The invite list also includes 17 players that competed in NCAA lacrosse this season, including Tewaaraton winner Chloe Humphrey from national champion North Carolina. Humphrey is one of four Tewaaraton winners competing in the camp, joining Sam Apuzzo (2018), Charlotte North (2021, 2022) and Izzy Scane (2023, 2024).
