Everything You Need to Know About the WLL All-Star Game

This weekend, the Women’s Lacrosse League is headed to the state that started it all for women’s lacrosse in the United States in honor of the league’s 2026 All-Star Game. 

In Annapolis, Md., Team Humphrey and Team Scane will go head-to-head as the best of the best in women’s lacrosse battle it out for bragging rights — and to put on a show for what is sure to be an impressive crowd at one of the most historic venues in the sport.

Starting at 5:30, there will be an accuracy competition featuring Sam Apuzzo, Rachel Clark, Ally Kennedy and Izzy Scane. There will also be a fastest shot competition featuring Meg Carney, Brigid Duffy, Emily Hawryschuk and Jill Smith.

It promises to be a full-on show.

PROJECTED FORECAST

Hot. Very hot. It’s going to be a scorcher this July Fourth weekend, but temperatures are expected to drop into the high-80s for game time. There could be some showers in Annapolis, but nothing that will truly rain on the parade.

MVP STATUS

In 2025, Scane was crowned MVP of the All-Star Game. Can she do it again and lead her team to victory this year? This year, Scane is second in the WLL in goals (nine) and points (13).

Team Humphrey has three of the top four players with the most total points so far this season: Emma LoPinto (16), Ellie Masera (11), and Ashley Humphrey (10).

The hosts of the podcast "Unsupervised" will be on the WLL sideline as celebrity coaches on Sunday. Theresa Plaisance will represent Team Humphrey, and Sydney Colson will represent Team Scane.
