SPARKS, Md. (Oct. 1, 2026) – USA Lacrosse today announced that Apex Girls Events has been selected as the event operator for the USA Lacrosse Women's National Tournament, bringing together USA Lacrosse's leadership in the sport with Apex's experience operating high-level girls’ lacrosse events across the country.
The USA Lacrosse Women's National Tournament has a longstanding tradition of bringing together talented high school girls lacrosse players from across the United States to represent their regions and compete on a national stage. The event provides athletes with a unique opportunity to compete alongside players from their area while experiencing high-level competition against teams representing lacrosse communities from throughout the country.
Through the new relationship, USA Lacrosse will continue to provide leadership and oversight of the National Tournament, while Apex Girls Events will manage the planning and execution of the event.
The collaboration is designed to preserve the tradition and identity of the National Tournament while continuing to strengthen the experience for players, coaches, families, officials, and college recruiters.
"Few events in our sport can match the legacy of the USA Lacrosse Women's National Tournament," said Caitlin Kelley, Senior Director, Sport Experience at USA Lacrosse. "For generations, it has brought together the game's best players while serving as a launching pad for future stars. The tournament celebrates the rich history of women's lacrosse and provides today's top high school athletes with an unparalleled opportunity to pursue their collegiate dreams."
Apex Girls Events operates girls lacrosse tournaments, showcases, recruiting events, and other competitive experiences throughout the United States. Its team will bring its event operations infrastructure and experience to the National Tournament, with an emphasis on organization, communication, competition, and the overall participant experience.
“Representing your state and region on a national stage means something,” said Danielle Kirk, President of Apex Girls Events. “Doing it under the USA Lacrosse crest carries a special kind of pride. These athletes get to compete alongside players who are usually their opponents and play for the communities that helped shape them. That’s what makes the Women’s National Tournament so special. It has a history that means a lot to this sport, and our teams is ready to deliver an experience worthy of it for the players, coaches and families. We’re honored to partner with USA Lacrosse and represent the organization.”
"Apex Girls Events has the expertise and proven track record to successfully operate an event of this caliber," said Will Blake, Vice President of Commercial Development and Partnerships. "We are confident they will deliver a first-class event while honoring the tradition and history that define the National Tournament."
The National Tournament's regional structure will continue to provide athletes with the opportunity to represent their local lacrosse communities while competing against players from across the country.
The collaboration will also focus on creating opportunities for participation from a broader range of lacrosse communities, supporting USA Lacrosse's ongoing efforts to grow the game nationally and provide meaningful competitive experiences for athletes.
"Our goal has always been bigger than simply running tournaments," said Apex Girls Events VP, Chelsea Rosiek. "We want to create experiences that help grow the game, connect the lacrosse community, and give young women opportunities to compete, develop, and be recognized. Working with USA Lacrosse on the National Tournament is a tremendous opportunity to further that mission."
Additional details regarding the 2027 USA Lacrosse Women's National Tournament, including event dates, location, regional tryout information, team selection processes, and registration, will be announced within the upcoming weeks.
