SPARKS, Md. – USA Lacrosse has named the men who will represent the United States in the inaugural Global Lacrosse Games, a four-nation international event featuring the men’s and women’s teams from Australia, Canada, the Haudenosaunee Nationals and the United States. The event runs from Dec. 8-13, 2026 at the St. James in Springfield, Va.
The Global Lacrosse Games will feature the sixes discipline of the sport that will be used for the LA28 Olympics. The U.S. men’s sixes team has split games with Canada this month – winning 12-11 in the gold medal game at the Pan-American Sixes Lacrosse Championship in Ontario earlier this month and then falling 21-15 in the Atlas Cup at USA Lacrosse headquarters this past Saturday night. The U.S. is 2-5 all-time against Canada.
The U.S. is 2-0 all-time in sixes against Australia, winning a pool play game at The World Games in 2022 Super Sixes in 2025. The U.S. improved to 5-0 all-time in sixes against the Haudenosaunee Nationals with a victory on Sunday at the Atlas Cup.
The 13-player U.S. roster features nine players that helped the U.S. capture the Pan-American Sixes Lacrosse Championship in October and six players that have medaled at World Lacrosse championships as a part of the U.S. National Team program in either box or field lacrosse.
