Defending WCLA Division I national champion Boston College Club is kicking off its title defense the right way as the No. 1 team in the WCLA Division I Preseason Top 20.
UCLA, national champion in 2024 and national runner-up in 2025 after losing in overtime to the Eagles in last year's championship game, checks in close behind at No. 2, followed by Georgia, Clemson and UC Santa Barbara, respectively.
In Division II, defending champion CSU San Marcos is no longer around — the Cougars have moved up to Division I and rank 15th to start the spring. That means Montana State assumes the No. 1 spot for now after finishing as the runner-up to CSU San Marcos last year.
The Road to Naples and the 2026 WCLA championship is officially underway. Many on the WCLA's Division I and Division II teams begin play in the next two weeks, including 10 ranked teams that are expected to participate in the annual Santa Barbara Shootout, February 6-8.
