SPARKS, Md. — Kori Edmondson, the Big Ten Midfielder of the Year and a veteran of the U.S. National Team Program, has been added to the USA roster for this week’s Pan-American Women’s Lacrosse Championship. The eight-team championship features Argentina, Canada, Haudenosaunee, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and the United States at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex from June 26-30.
Edmondson is an injury replacement for Madison Taylor.
Edmondson was a member of the 2024 U.S. U20 team that captured the World Lacrosse Women’s U20 Championship in Hong Kong, China. She also played multiple years in the USA Lacrosse National Team Development Program.
Edmondson, a rising senior at Maryland, is coming off of her best collegiate season. The two-way midfielder led the Terps in goals (59), points (73) and ground balls (38) and also set career highs in draw controls (70), caused turnovers (18) and assists (14).
The U.S. Women’s National Team trains and plays using best-in-class products from Capelli Sport (apparel) and game-changing, high-performance equipment from Gait Lacrosse and STX.
In addition to these partners, MedStar Health and NCSI are official sponsors of the U.S. National Team Program. Athletic Republic and GoLiveSports are supporting partners.
Funding for the national teams also comes from generous donors to the USA Lacrosse Foundation. Help support the team.
