USA Lacrosse has invited over 40 of the nation’s top men’s lacrosse players for a training camp for the field team in the U.S. Men’s National Team Program. The camp will take place in Charlotte, N.C., from June 7-9, following the Premier Lacrosse League’s weekend of games in Charlotte.

This will be the second training camp since Seth Tierney took over as the head coach of the U.S. national team and the team is gearing up for the Pan-American Lacrosse Championship in Kingston, Jamaica from Aug. 17-23. The Pan-American event is a continental qualifier for next summer’s world championship in Japan.

The training camp roster features 11 players that represented the U.S. and won gold at the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship in San Diego – Trevor Baptiste, Matt Dunn, J.T. Giles Harris, Zach Goodrich, TD Ierlan, Danny Logan, Brennan O’Neill, Blaze Riorden, Jack Rowlett, Michael Sowers and Ryan Terefenko.

Some other notes on the training camp roster:

  • Former NFL player Jared Bernhardt will be playing with the U.S. program for the first time since helping the U.S. Men’s U19 team win a world championship in 2016.
  • Two current collegiate players have been invited – Duke’s Aidan Maguire and Notre Dame’s Shawn Lyght. Both will be competing in the NCAA semifinals this weekend.
  • Four of the last five winners of the Tewaaraton Award, given to the nation’s top college player, are competing – C.J. Kirst (2025), Pat Kavanagh (2024), Brennan O’Neill (2023) and Jared Bernhardt (2021).
