Undefeated UC Santa Barbara retains its hold on the top spot in the WCLA Division I Top 20 this week after adding another impressive win to its resume, defeating No. 11 Cal Poly 13-10. The Gauchos now have 10 victories over ranked opponents this season.
No. 2 Florida Club also picked up a pair of wins over ranked teams this week, defeating No. 14 Central Florida and No. 15 Auburn to raise its record to 8-0. Defending champion Boston College Club, Michigan Club and Clemson Club round out this week’s top five.

Clemson jumped two spots to earn its highest ranking of the season after defeating then-No. 6 Georgia in overtime, as well as a victory over No. 17 Tennessee. The Tigers were well motivated for their match-up against Georgia after losing three times to their SWLL rival last season.
“We did a lot of preparation for that game and emphasized how important it was to stay patient throughout the game,” said senior defender and club vice president Brianna Bullard. “Our coaches always do whatever they can to put us in the best position to succeed.”
After finishing fourth in the nation last season, Bullard noted that the Tigers are focused on another championship run this spring.
“With Naples (site of the 2026 WCLA championship tournament) as our goal and with the momentum we’ve built so far, we show up to every practice and game motivated and ready to compete,” she said. “Our collective goal to make it even farther this season. We plan to keep the wins coming. The best part is that all our girls truly want to be here. We show up, we have fun, we win, and we laugh a lot.”
No. 7 Virginia Tech was the biggest mover in this week’s poll, jumping five spots after also collecting narrow wins over Georgia and Tennessee. A showdown with Clemson is looming later this month.
In Division II, Montana State remains number one, followed by Denver Club and Concordia. No. 4 College of Charleston made the biggest move this week, jumping five spots after a 3-0 week that included a win over No. 10 Ole Miss.
