The U.S. has won the last four World Lacrosse women’s championships in field lacrosse at the senior level, most recently in 2022 when it edged Canada in Towson, Md. Canada is off to a 2-0 start in the Pan-American tournament after beating Jamaica today.
LoPinto, a gold medalist on the 2024 U.S. U20 team, led the way on Friday with a stellar 12-point afternoon that included five goals, seven assists and three caused turnovers on the ride. North also had five goals and dished out three assists.
