The U.S. men’s national team is headed to Florida this weekend to conduct a training camp being held in conjunction with the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMCLA) Winter Summit.

The U.S. men will hold two Blue-White exhibition games at Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Fla. The first game will be held Friday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. and the second game will be held Saturday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. Both games are open to the public and free of charge.

This will be the final evaluation period for U.S. men’s team head coach John Danowski and his staff before selecting the 23-man roster that will represent the United States in the World Lacrosse Men’s Championship from June 21 through July 1, 2023 in San Diego.

By virtue of its 2018 world championship, the United States will be the No. 1 seed for the 30-team tournament that features teams from six continents.

The U.S. men’s national team trains and plays using best-in-class products from Nike Lacrosse (apparel and footwear), DJO (sports bracing) and game-changing, high-performance equipment from Cascade Maverik and Warrior.

In addition to these partners, Gatorade, MedStar Health, National Center for Safety Initiatives and Stryker are official sponsors of the U.S. national team program. Team training is also aided by products from Athletic Republic.
