SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse is now accepting applications for its national grants, which provide resources to local groups and organizations to support and promote lacrosse opportunities. Available grants include equipment grants, player clinic grants, and financial grants.

All organizations seeking support, regardless of the amount or type requested, are required to complete a formal grant application.

The online application and a fuller explanation of the grant process are available here. Organizational eligibility requirements are also explained in further detail.

Applications in this grant cycle will be accepted through August 31, 2022. All submissions are reviewed in detail by a panel of USA Lacrosse staff, with applicants notified of their grant status upon review.

“We’re excited to once again offer these grant opportunities to assist qualifying organizations across the country in making a greater impact in our sport,” said Eboni Preston-Laurent, senior director for diversity, equity, inclusion, and opportunity at USA Lacrosse.

USA Lacrosse grants are awarded via two cycles during the calendar year, once in the fall and once in the spring. The grants are a strategic component of USA Lacrosse’s mission to provide structure and resources to fuel the sport’s growth and enrich the experience of all participants.

Last year, USA Lacrosse provided $775,000 in grants to 225 local lacrosse organizations across 43 states. Annual grants to support local growth initiatives and bring new people to the sport are funded through philanthropic contributions to USA Lacrosse.
