USA Lacrosse NTDP Adds Boys Regional Clinic in Ohio

By USA Lacrosse Staff

SPARKS, Md. – USA Lacrosse has added a location in Ohio to its lineup of boys’ Regional ID Clinics for the 2025 National Team Development Program.

USA Lacrosse will host a Regional ID Clinic for U17 and U19 boys on June 30 at the Don Shula Sports Center on the campus of John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio. The location is one of 12 sites for the ID clinics this cycle.

Launched in 2019, the National Team Development Program offers high-level training and instruction while evaluating players for inclusion for the U.S. Youth National Teams.

Following the Regional ID Clinics for the U17 and U19 age groupings, approximately 175 players will be invited to USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md., for a national combine. The boys’ combine will be held Aug. 4-7.

Following the combine, 24 players will be named to the U17 and U19 U.S. Youth National Teams.

The U.S. Youth National Teams will play against international competition this fall. The teams will compete at USA Lacrosse headquarters the weekend of Sept. 18-21 for the Rivalry Challenge against Canada’s national development teams and the U17 and U19 teams will participate in the Brogden Cup at USA Lacrosse the weekend of Oct. 23-26.

  • For the U19 age group: The player must be born on or between September 1, 2006 and August 31, 2008
  • For the U17 age group: The player must be born on or between September 1, 2008 and August 31, 2010
