SPARKS, Md. — The 2022 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals is a sell-out with 92 of the nation’s top girls’ club teams coming to DE Turf in Frederica, Del., from July 12-13 in the 13U, 14U and 15U age groupings. The 14U and 15U championship games will be streamed live on Lax Sports Network for the second straight year.

Last year’s event drew a record 80 teams, culminating with PRIDE 2026 Red (Va.), Yellow Jackets Spallina (N.Y.) and Monster Elite Lacrosse (N.Y.) winning championships at the 13U, 14U and 15U age groupings, respectively. This year’s field features 28 teams in the 15U division and 32 teams in each of the 13U and 14U age groupings.

The event, which dates to 2009, is in its second year of USA Lacrosse partnering with STEPS Lacrosse and Top of the Bay Sports to conduct the activities. This year’s field features teams from a dozen states and many of the top club programs in the country.

“We are thrilled with the tournament field for the 2022 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals,” said Charlie Shoulberg of STEPS Lacrosse. “The geographic diversity and level of competition is fantastic. After the overwhelming success of the 2021 event due to the shared vision of USA Lacrosse, Top of the Bay Sports, Lax Sports Network and STEPS Lacrosse, we are extremely excited for 2022. Our goal with the collaboration is to provide a first-class event on a national stage.”

“We are excited to build on the energy of the 2021 USA Youth Nationals,” said Krystin Porcella of Top of the Bay Sports. “The 2022 field of teams is set with some returning national powerhouse programs and some programs looking to make their mark. We are honored to continue the dynamic partnership with USA Lacrosse and Steps Lacrosse to build upon last year’s success and the proud history of the event.”
