World Lacrosse Names Officials for Summer Championships

World Lacrosse has announced the officiating crews for the The World Games 2025 and the World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship and a number of USA officials will serve in both on-field and off-field roles to support the championships.

The World Games, a multi-sport Olympic-style event, will feature women’s lacrosse as a medal sport for the third time. This quadrennial event takes place in Chengdu, China with the lacrosse competition taking place from Aug. 7-11. Jessica Lowrance (Virginia), a veteran of previous international championships, will be one of nine on-field officials at The World Games. Lisa Volland (New York) and Mara Wager (New York) will also be represented at the event as educators.

The World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship is set for Aug. 15-24 on Jeju Island, Korea. There will be five U.S. officials serving as on-field officials – Benjamin Baker (Florida), Kole Dea (Arizona), Jay McCracken (Texas), Luke Paulus (New York) and Nicholas Schmitt (New York). Serving in off-field roles will be Rob Gross (New York) as deputy educator and Spike Decker (New York) and Kevin Forrester (North Carolina) as educators.
