Inducted as a truly great player, Millon began her collegiate career with two seasons at Essex (Md.) Community College before she transferred to the University of Maryland and became a two-year starter on attack. Millon was a second team All-American as a senior in 1990 while helping the Terps reach the national championship game. She was later named to the ACC’s 50th Anniversary Team in 2002.
Millon spent eight years in the U.S. Women's national team program and was a two-time member of the U.S. World Cup Team, helping the United States capture the world championship in both 1997 and 2001. She also served as an alternate on the 1993 U.S. team. Millon was the recipient of US Lacrosse’s Beth Allen Award in 2001 as the most outstanding U.S. team player at the Women’s National Tournament. She was also the first recipient of the IWLCA’s President’s Award in 2004.
