With three players honored as MCLA Division I Preseason All-Americans, Utah Valley has affirmed its standing as the preseason No. 1 before play begins in the MCLA this spring.

Blake Yates, the Preseason Player of the Year, is a first-team attackman, and he is joined by faceoff ace Jacob Lundin and defenseman Jack Baird. Baird is the lone returning first-team All-American for Utah Valley, as Yates and Lundin finished 2025 on the second team.

Brigham Young, the No. 2 team in the preseason, checks in with two All-Americans — attackman Gavin Taylor and goalie Easton Wilkey. Utah Valley and BYU are the only two programs with multiple preseason All-Americans.

The only other 2025 first-team All-American featured on this preseason list is long-stick midfielder Jack Schiffl from Florida State.
