The first week of Northeast Region rankings means that the entire country is now playing for the National Top 25. It took only a couple of games for the rankings to shift in the Northeast, with St. Sebastian's (Mass.), Choate (Conn.) and Garden City (N.Y.) making their regional debuts and showing the region is going to be tough to predict.
The Mid-Atlantic continues to see subtle movements among the top 10. Only Calvert Hall (Md.) is still perfect, and it's another region that looks like anyone can beat anybody else.
There's more stability in the other regions. The South and the Midwest kept their rankings largely intact. The West saw a few flips in the middle of their rankings with Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.) moving up two spots and Marin Catholic (Calif.) dropping two spots.

NORTHEAST Top 10
The Northeast is off and running, and if the first week is any indication, it's going to be a lot of fun watching these teams compete.
St. Anthony's (N.Y.) picked up a narrow win to stay atop the standings, one of three unbeatens atop a region that looks like it will be beating each other up. Salisbury (Conn.) and Brunswick (Conn.) also are perfect in the early going.
Trailing them is a herd of competitive squads including two newcomers to the rankings. Quality wins by St. Sebastian's (Mass.) and Choate (Conn.) thrust them into No. 5 and No. 6 spots respectively.
Garden City (N.Y.) also moved into the rankings with a win in their season opener. Fairfield Prep (Conn.) and Darien (Conn.) look to debut this week.

1. St. Anthony's (N.Y.), 3-0
The Friars followed up wins over Culver (Ind.) and St. John’s (D.C.) with a 7-6 victory over host Seton Hall Prep (N.J.). Gary Merrill (North Carolina) and Danny Rooney (Maryland) had two goals apiece, Dylan Harrigan (Maryland) had a goal and an assist, and Gio Massaro (St. Bonaventure) and Alex Ruddy (Michigan) each scored once. 2. Salisbury (Conn.), 2-0
Dash Lamitie (Johns Hopkins) stood on his head, making 16 saves, Parker Reynolds (Princeton) netted a hat trick, Cam Kelly (Notre Dame) had a goal and two assists, and James Whitehorse (Virginia), Brayden Belski, Jayden Kittelberg (Syracuse) and Tyler Ramirez (Colgate) had one goal apiece in an 8-5 win over Loomis Chaffee (Conn.). That followed a 17-6 season-opening win over Thayer Academy (Mass.). Previous: 4
3. Brunswick (Conn.), 3-0
After opening the season with wins over Hill School (PA) and Delbarton (N.J.), the Bruins made it 3-0 with a 13-9 victory over Deerfield (Mass.). Aidan Diaz Matos (Notre Dame) won 14 of 23 faceoffs and added a pair of assists, Lucas Garcia (Virginia) had five goals and an assist, Rick Giordano (North Carolina) netted a hat trick and Emmet Meagher (Colby) had two goals and two assists for the Bruins, who have a massive national showdown against Loomis-Chaffee (Conn.) on April 5. 4. Loomis Chaffee (Conn.), 1-1
Rowyn Nurry (Cornell) had three goals and one assist, David Disque (Johns Hopkins) and Brendan Mulderig scored one goal apiece, Liam O’Keefe (Harvard) made 13 saves and Hayden Cody (Georgetown) went 8/15 from the faceoff X in an 8-5 loss to Salisbury School (Conn.). That came on the heels of an impressive season-opening 12-4 victory over Malvern Prep (Pa.). Previous: 2
5. St. Sebastian's (Mass.), 1-1
The Arrows bounced back from a tough season-opening 10-7 loss to Lawrenceville (N.J.) by beating Taft (Conn.), 7-6. Ty Curry (Notre Dame) had three goals and two assists, Crosby Thurmond (Holy Cross) had two goals and Chandler McClements (Penn) made 14 saves, including a last-second denial to seal the victory. Mitch Kavey (Loyola) scored four goals, Oliver Nappi (Yale) had four assists, Bryce Privateer (Dartmouth) had two goals and an assist, Gordie Leary (Dartmouth) had a pair of goals, Paul Wable (North Carolina) had a goal and an assist and Mac Privateer had a 62% save percentage in a 10-7 win over Belmont Hill (Mass.). 7. Chaminade (N.Y.), 2-1
Connor Kuttin (Johns Hopkins) had four goals and two assists, Gavin Lynch (Notre Dame) scored four goals, John Balsamo (Virginia) had one goal and four assists and James Gillis (Duke) scored twice for the Flyers in a 20-3 victory over Archbishop Stepinac (N.Y.). 8. Fairfield Prep (Conn.), 0-0
What a way to open their state title defense as the Jesuits take on Darien (Conn.) on April 5 in a massive early-season showdown in Connecticut. Fairfield Prep (Conn.) is led by Luke Shannehan (Michigan), Nate Estrella (Air Force), Emmet Crotty (Colgate), as well as midfielders Finbar Malloy, a Rutgers commit who will PG at Hun School next year, and junior Theo Rudolph. 9. Garden City (N.Y.), 1-0
Charlie Koester (Lehigh) scored seven goals, Brayden Robertiello had two goals and four assists, Ben Smith had one goal and three assists and Luke Cascadden (Navy) won 16 of 20 faceoffs for Garden City (N.Y.) in a season-opening 12-7 victory over Ward Melville (N.Y.). Previous: NR

The Blue Wave can certainly make a statement of intent against Fairfield Prep (Conn.) on April 5. Darien (Conn.) is led by Mark McNamara (Penn State), who anchors the defense, while Ben Bilodeau (Georgetown), Max McBride (Lafayette), and Ryan Thurlow (Villanova) are stud juniors in an explosive attack. Mid-Atlantic Top 10
Even after a relatively light schedule, only one unbeaten team is left in the Top 10 of the Mid-Atlantic.
Calvert Hall (Md.) retains the top spot with its perfect start. Lawrenceville (N.J.) moves up to No. 2 after a big win in the Northeast Region while upping their win streak to five.
Boys' Latin (Md.) became the first team to defeat Archbishop Spalding (Md.) to jump up four spots. The Lakers' only two losses have come against higher ranked Lawrenceville and Malvern Prep (Pa.).
McDonogh (Md.) also picked up a pair of important wins within the region to ascend in the rankings. The Eagles had to fill in for sick and injured players through some narrow losses to start the year, but have rattled off four straight wins.

1. Calvert Hall (Md.), 6-0
The Cardinals stayed unbeaten with a convincing 17-9 win over St. Mary’s (Md.) in their MIAA opener. It’s their second largest margin of victory this year. Calvert Hall hosts Boys’ Latin (Md.) and plays at Severn (Md.) this week. Previous: 1
2. Lawrenceville (N.J.), 5-1
The Big Red defeated St. Sebastian’s (Mass.) 10-7 to start their week. They handed Episcopal (Pa.) an 11-4 loss to run their win streak to five straight. Colby Rossettie had a hat trick and two assists in the win and Jett Stake made six saves to hold Episcopal to a season-low. Lawrenceville has a three-game week with Malvern Prep (Pa.), Peddie (N.J.) and Deerfield (Mass.) on the schedule. Previous: 4
3. Malvern Prep (Pa.), 6-2
The Friars split their road games at Taft (Conn.) and Loomis Chaffee (Conn.). After beating Taft, 9-5, they dropped a 12-4 decision to Loomis Chaffee. It’s no easier this week with games at Lawrenceville (N.J.) before they face St. Anthony’s (N.Y.). Previous: 3
4. Boys' Latin (Md.), 5-2
The Lakers became the first team this year to solve Archbishop Spalding (Md.). Matthew Higgins, Quinn Lynch, Joey Keller and TJ Shaw all scored two goals apiece in a 10-9 win. Boys’ Latin trailed, 5-2, before rallying. Lynch had the game-winner. The Lakers take on another unbeaten, playing at Calvert Hall, to start a week that also includes John Carroll (Md.). Previous: 8
5. Archbishop Spalding (Md.), 7-1
The Cavaliers lost their MIAA opener to Boys’ Latin (Md.) 10-9 in their lone game last week. Spalding led early 5-2 only to see Boys’ Latin rally in a game that they eventually tied, 8-8. The Cavaliers will play at Loyola Blakefield (Md.) and then host Gilman in a pair of MIAA games. Previous: 2
6. McDonogh (Md.), 5-3
Weston Guerra filled in for injured goalie Aidan Seibel and made seven saves while Hunter Metz scored four goals and Brendan Millon and Bogue Hahn each had hat tricks in an 11-7 win over Haverford School (Pa.). The Eagles followed up with a thrilling 9-8 overtime win over St. Paul’s (Md.) on Hahn’s game-winner. Millon contributed five assists. It was their fourth one-goal game this year. Previous: 10
7. Delbarton (N.J.), 2-1
The Big Green rebounded from their first loss of the year to stop Ridgewood (N.J.) 10-6 in their in-state opener. Delbarton dropped a 12-5 decision to Brunswick (Conn.) to open the week despite 10 saves from Tanner Shimko and two goals from Gavin Romweber. Romweber had five points on a pair of goals and three assists and Peter Falk and Alex Schobel each had a hat trick in the win over Ridgewood. They host Caldwell (N.J.) in their lone game of the week. 8. Haverford School (Pa.), 3-2
Despite two goals apiece from Conor Morsell and Chris Burnetta, the Fords dropped their second game in a row, falling 11-7 to McDonogh (Md.) in their only game last week. Haverford cut a 5-2 halftime deficit to 6-5 late in the third period. The Fords play La Salle (Pa.) and Don Bosco (N.J.) this week. Previous: 6
9. Loyola Blakefield (Md.), 6-2
Cooper Pasko and Matt Joerres scored hat tricks in a 13-8 win over Mount St. Joseph (Md.). Loyola jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back in their MIAA opener. Up next is a game against Archbishop Spalding (Md.). Previous: 7
10. Landon (Md.), 7-1
The Bears defeated St. James (Md.) in their only game of the week. It’s their fourth straight win since an overtime loss to Haverford. They’ll play one of Virginia’s best public school’s, Riverside (Va.) and St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.). Previous: 9

SOUTH Top 10
The South Region rankings remain the same top to bottom for the Top 10. Benjamin (Fla.) leads the way, with unbeatens IMG Academy (Fla.) and Lake Mary (Fla.) keeping a Florida sweep. Westlake (Texas) won a top-10 matchup with The Woodlands (Texas). Lambert (Ga.) is perfect after 12 games heading into its spring break.

1. Benjamin (Fla.), 15-1
Amid a mid-Atlantic swing, the Buccaneers took it to the Academy of the New Church (Pa.), 16-4. Benjamin rounded out the trip with a 15-9 victory over Gilman (Md.). Jayden Vega had four goals and an assist in the win against Gilman. Previous: 1
2. IMG Academy (Fla.), 8-0
The Ascenders continued their impressive start to the 2025 season, defeating Noble and Greenough (Mass.) 14-10, Our Lady of Good Counsel (Md.) 10-8, and Trinity-Pawling (N.Y.) 17-4. Previous: 2
3. Lake Mary (Fla.), 12-0
The Rams head into the final week of the regular season looking to maintain their undefeated record. Lake Mary picked up a 16-2 win over Oviedo (Fla.) followed by a 12-1 victory against Riverdale Country (N.Y.). Lake Mary closes the season this week against Bolles (Fla.). Previous: 3
4. Episcopal Dallas (Texas), 11-1
The Eagles returned home to host St. John's (Texas), defeating the Mavericks 23-5. ESD followed up the result with another home win against Episcopal Houston (Texas), 19-9. Previous: 4
5. St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.), 13-2
The Raiders picked up a blowout win over Cardinal Gibbons (Fla.) 17-1. The win was followed by a 14-3 victory over Bishop Moore (Fla.). This will be a challenging week for St. Thomas Aquinas, who faces Benjamin (Fla.) and St. Andrew’s (Fla.) to close the regular season. Previous: 5
6. Highland Park (Texas), 9-2
The Fighting Scots returned from a two-week break to host Torrey Pines (Calif.), easily defeating them 11-7. Highland Park has a major test this week against Westlake (Texas). Previous: 6
7. St. Andrew’s (Fla.), 11-5
After falling to Landon (Md.), the Scots recovered to topple St. Albans (D.C.) by a 13-6 scoreline. Jackson Corlew played a major role in the victory, winning 10 out of 15 draws and picking up seven ground balls. Previous: 7
8. Westlake (Texas), 7-2
The Chaps were tested this week, pulling out two tight victories. Westlake defeated Woodlands (Texas) 11-9 before beating Cypress Woods (Texas) 9-7. Nick Pacitti played a major role at the faceoff X for Westlake. Previous: 8
9. Lambert (Ga.), 12-0
The Longhorns enter spring break with an unbeaten record. After a slow start against Cambridge (Ga.), Lambert had an explosive second half to defeat the Bears 15-6. Brooks Wehman had four goals. Lambert then picked up a 15-3 win over Wesleyan (Ga.). Brayden Tompkins had a four-goal effort. Previous: 9

The Highlanders lost a tight contest to Westlake (Texas), 11-9. All three of Woodlands’ losses have been by two or fewer goals. Previous: 10

An in-region battle resulted in the only change in rankings this week. Upper Arlington (Ohio) picked up a key win in a head-to-head showdown against St. Xavier (Ohio) to switch places in the middle of the rankings. Region leaders Culver Academy (Ind.) and Western Reserve (Ohio) have gone out of region for games and have lost three games between them. Six of the final eight ranked teams in the Midwest are still perfect.

1. Culver Academy (Ind.), 6-1
While the Eagles are on a much deserved break following a grueling schedule to start the season, it's worth reflecting on the week Tay Rodriguez had. In back-to-back wins over St. John's (D.C.) and Gonzaga (D.C)., Rodriguez amassed 24 ground balls and won 82 percent of his faceoffs. After taking on mostly Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and South teams to start the season, Culver turns its attention closer to home with a trip to St. Xavier (Ohio) on April 4. Previous: 1
2. Western Reserve (Ohio), 4-2
The Pioneers are in a similar situation as the Eagles having faced a number of top Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and South teams, including wins over Memphis University School (Tenn.), St. Paul's (Md.) and Trinity Louisville (Ky.). Like Culver, WRA now shifts to take on more proximate competition, including St. Edward (Ohio) on April 1 followed by Shady Side Academy (Pa.), Archbishop Moeller (Ohio) and St. Xavier (Ky.) over the weekend. 3. Detroit Catholic Central (Mich.), 3-0
The Shamrocks impressed once again this week, beating in-state foes Cranbrook and Rockford by double-digit margins. Villanova commit Lachlan Moffatt had 14 goals and three assists over the two games while fellow senior Luke Zajdel added five goals and two assists. A big weekend awaits DCC with 2024 Illinois state champion Lake Forest on April 5 and longtime Mitten State powerhouse Brother Rice on April 6. Previous: 3
4. Olentangy Liberty (Ohio), 1-0
After a one-goal win over Archbishop Moeller (Ohio) on March 22 to start the season, the Patriots went the rest of March without a game. That changes quickly to begin April as Liberty has three games in four days this week, traveling to Dublin Jerome on April 3 followed by weekend games against two more in-state foes in Hudson and Dublin Coffman. 5. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 1-2
Ignore the record as the Golden Bears' two losses came to Delaware's top team, Salesianum, and one of the nation's top five teams in Archbishop Spalding (Md.). And the win? Oh, that was a big one as Upper Arlington edged St. Xavier (Ohio) behind six goals from UAlbany commit Wally Swiney, three goals and two assists from Ohio State commit Noah Gehlert and 15 saves from Sam Old. 6. St. Xavier (Ohio), 3-1
The Bombers won two of three games this week, topping Archbishop Moeller (Ohio) and Cathedral (Ind.) and dropping a close contest against Upper Arlington (Ohio). In Sunday's clash with the Irish, the Bombers led 8-4 at the half before taking over with a 6-0 third quarter. Previous: 5
7. Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.), 8-0
The Royals had another perfect week, including a signature win over St. Louis power MICDS in the first meeting between the two programs. Tied at three after a quarter, Hamilton Southeastern took over with a 5-0 second, as junior David Gould finished with three goals and two assists while senior Max Kemp and juniors Kyle Jenkins, Marcus Laux and Henry Wans added three points apiece. Kemp also had a five-goal, eight-point performance earlier in the week in a win over Guerin Catholic (Ind.). Previous: 7
8. Rockhurst Jesuit (Mo.), 3-0
The Hawklets returned from spring break with an emphatic 19-3 win over Lee's Summit West (Kan.), powered by a massive five-goal, two-assist performance from Johnny Eckles. Eckles was key once again in Rockhurst Jesuit's 8-2 win over Chaminade, a top Missouri team, playing a role in half of his team's scoring with two goals and two assists. Draden Torline also impressed with 10 saves against just two goals allowed. Previous: 8
9. Lake Forest (Ill.), 2-0
After 11 days without a game, the Scouts return to action April 1 against Mukwonago (Wisc.) followed by a set of weekend clashes with two of the top teams in Michigan: Brother Rice and Detroit Catholic Central. Previous: 9
10. St. Viator (Ill.), 4-0
The Lions remained undefeated with wins over Community School of Naples (Fla.) and Groton School (Mass.). St. Viator's defense has been particularly remarkable, as it has held all four of its opponents thus far to four goals or fewer. Previous: 10

West Top 10
Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.) picked up a pair of wins over top-10 teams to move up in the rankings. Their wins came at the expense of Marin Catholic (Calif.) which drops a couple of spots and Santa Margarita (Calif.). It was Santa Margarita's first loss, leaving Cherry Creek (Colo.) and Arapahoe (Colo.) as the lone unbeatens in the Top 10. They'll face off in the next week.
Our West rankings cover the Mountain, Pacific and Northwest regions and at least part of the Southwest.
1. Loyola-Los Angeles (Calif.), 12-3
Loyola downed Loyola Academy (Ill.), 22-2, for its third straight match limiting opponents to just two goals. The Cubs are nearing the end of regular season play with two games left. Up next is road game at Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.). Previous: 1
2. St. Ignatius (Calif.), 10-1
St. Ignatius went 3-0 last week. The Wildcats combined for 56 goals against Menlo School (Calif.), Redwood (Calif.) and La Costa Canyon (Calif.) while only allowing 13. St. Ignatius takes on Bellarmine (Calif.) and No. 5 Marin Catholic (Calif.), who they most recently defeated in the Catholic Cup semifinals, next. Previous: 2
3. Cherry Creek (Colo.), 7-0
Cherry Creek remains undefeated after defeating Legend (Colo.), 14-9, and Park City (Utah), 18-6. Senior Ollie Nolting (Johns Hopkins) led the team with five goals against the Legend while adding three ground balls. Up next is the Bruins open conference play against Denver South (Colo.). 4. Torrey Pines (Calif.), 6-4
After a highly contested week, Torrey Pines snapped a three-game losing streak with a 13-8 victory over Dallas Jesuit (Texas). Prior to, the Falcons fell 7-6 in a tight match to East Coast team Gonzaga (D.C.) and came up short, 11-7, to the No. 6 South Region team Highland Park (Texas). Foothill (Calif.) is up next. 5. Valor Christian (Colo.), 5-1
Valor Christian came back from break and dominated Park City (Utah), 11-2, before taking down its first conference opponent, Legend (Colo.), 13-5. Up next is Denver East (Colo.) and Castle View (Colo.). Previous: 6
6. Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.), 5-3
The Gators capped an undefeated week with an 8-7 upset over then-No. 5 Marin Catholic (Calif.). Sacred Heart edged No. 10 Santa Margarita (Calif.), 10-8, and followed it up with a dominant 17-3 victory over Bellarmine (Calif.). Next is St. Margaret’s (Calif.) and Bishop’s (Calif.). Previous: 4
7. Marin Catholic (Calif.), 10-3
After securing two conference victories over Novato (Calif.) and Tamalpais (Calif.), Marin Catholic slipped, 8-7, to then-No. 8 Sacred Heart (Calif.). The Wildcats have a series of games on deck against conference foe San Rafael (Calif.), Bishop’s (Calif.) and No. 1 St. Ignatius (Calif.). Previous: 5
8. De La Salle (Calif.), 7-3
De La Salle split last week, first falling 9-5 to Cathedral Catholic (Calif.) before defeating Coronado (Calif.), 10-5. Freshman goalkeeper Parker Lee recorded 16 saves on 25 shots on goal in the loss while junior Hudson Lee netted a team-high four goals in the win. 9. Arapahoe (Colo.) 6-0
The Warriors are on a six-match winning streak after going 2-0 on their West Coast road trip. Arapahoe downed Santa Fe Christian (Calif.), 8-5, before edging La Costa Canyon (Calif.), 9-8. Junior Nicholas Parker (Air Force) led the charge against La Casta Canyon, netting four kills while adding two ground balls and one assist. Next up Arapahoe opens league play against Kent Denver (Colo.). Previous: 9
10. Santa Margarita (Calif.), 8-1
After falling in a narrow 10-8 loss to No. 8 Sacred Heart (Calif.), Santa Margarita downed St. Francis (Calif.), 11-6, before overpowering Judge Memorial (Utah), 13-6. Sophomore Brody Booen combined for 13 goals across the three matchups. Next is a pair of league opponents, Mater Dei (Calif.) and St. John Bosco (Calif.). Previous: 10
