St. Augustine (N.J.) defeated Delbarton (N.J.) for just the second time in 11 years, moving into the latest USA Lacrosse High School Boys' National Top 25, presented by CWENCH Hydration.

The Hermits ended the regular season on a 10-game winning streak. They’re the only team to beat public school No. 1 Garden City (N.Y.), they defeated Pennsylvania public school power Radnor (Pa.) and they topped Seton Hall Prep (N.J.) while putting together an unbeaten record in-state this season. They could meet Seton Hall again in the non-public group state tournament semifinals.

The top 11 teams in the national rankings remain in order with only four of them playing last week, two of them in a head-to-head matchup.

Loomis Chaffee (Conn.) defeated Choate (Conn.) again, this time for their third consecutive Founders League championship to close their season ranked fifth nationally while Choate holds at No. 11.

Malvern Prep (Pa.) ended its season with a 20th win, knocking off Haverford School (Pa.) for a third time this season. The Friars' last win secured the private Pennsylvania championship. Malvern and Haverford advanced with top-25 wins over Hill School (Pa.) and Episcopal (Pa.), respectively.

Garden City (N.Y.) stayed on track for a 30th Nassau County title. The Trojans advanced to the semifinals of the Class B tournament as the No. 1 seed.

The only other ranked teams in action were La Salle (Pa.), Seton Hall Prep and Summit (N.J.). La Salle won a 10th straight Philadelphia Catholic League while Seton Hall and Summit are geared up for their state postseason tournaments.

Delbarton will try to rebound from recent losses to St. Augustine and Seton Hall in the non-public group state tournament that all three are seeded in.
