Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Let the games begin.
The PALA Sixes Cup, featuring 15 men’s and women’s teams from 10 nations, gets underway today from Jamaica. NLSE will feature live streaming of the event which wraps up with Saturday’s championship games.
It’s been over 100 years since men’s lacrosse has been a medal sport at the Olympics. It’s never been a medal sport for women. Taylor Moreno is among the hopefuls grateful to chase the dream.
4. Keep celebrating.
The scenes coming in from our Pick Up & Play clinics as part of National Celebrate Lacrosse Week are just inspiring. Loving every one of them.
Our timeline was flooded with colleges officially announcing their Class of 2024 recruiting classes. We especially liked Jacksonville’s approach to include congratulations from the players’ families and friends.
National Celebrate Lacrosse Week rolls on with four Pick Up & Play clinics today. Our Matt Hamilton will be onsite for the Durant Lacrosse Association & Choctaw Nation clinic in Oklahoma and others will be held in Oregon, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
