Sacred Heart Greenwich (Conn.) and Cicero-North Syracuse (N.Y.) are big movers in the Northeast, Maryvale (Md.) rose to No. 2 in the Mid-Atlantic and Lake Highland (Fla.) is the new No. 1 in the South in this week's USA Lacrosse High School Girls' Regional Rankings.
The Midwest escaped change for a week, but in the West, there’s a newcomer in Regis Jesuit (Colo.). Most areas are in playoff mode, meaning more changes could come.

NORTHEAST Top 10
Sacred Heart Greenwich (Conn.) and Cicero-North Syracuse (N.Y.) played their way into the Northeast Region rankings with big wins over highly ranked squads.
Sacred Heart edged former No. 2 Darien (Conn.) to jump to the No. 3 spot behind unbeatens St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) and Nyack (N.Y.). Cicero-North Syracuse also made a sizeable jump into the rankings after they knocked off previous No. 5 Victor.
West Islip (N.Y.), Smithtown West (N.Y.) and Garden City (N.Y.) all continued their strong seasons with solid wins, most notably Smithtown West handing previous No. 10 Westhampton (N.Y.) a 12-9 defeat.
Victor falls to the final spot in the rankings, and faces a good challenger this week in 11-1 South Jefferson (N.Y.) which lost to Cicero-North Syracuse by a similar score.

Kat Rathjen (Florida State) had two goals, one assist, and four draw controls, Emma Toner (Lafayette) had one goal and one assist, and 10 different players scored one goal apiece to lead the Friars to a 13-3 win over St. John the Baptist (N.Y.). Previous: 1

Ella Gould (Michigan) had six goals and six draw controls, Casey Cummings (Syracuse) had four goals, one assist and eight draw controls, Abby Gould had two goals and Lila Gilbart and Ava von Kleeck had one goal and three assists apiece in a 12-8 win over Wilton (Conn.). Previous: 3
3. Sacred Heart Greenwich (Conn.), 13-2
Daphne Fallon (Georgetown) scored four goals, Peyla Carcaterra had a pair of goals, Maggie Sweeney had one goal, one assist, and three draw controls, and Charley Bacigalupo (Notre Dame) had one goal, one assist and 10 draw controls in a 9-8 victory over Daren (Conn.). 4. Darien (Conn.), 12-2
The Blue Wave bounced back from a one-goal defeat to Sacred Heart-Greenwich by defeating Ridgefield (Conn.), 18-5. Katie Walsh (Colgate) had six goals, Anna Von Kennel (Florida) had three goals and three assists, Hope Hapgood (Dartmouth) had three goals and one assist, Caleigh Cummiskey (Bucknell) had two goals and an assist, and Adriana Gromelski added a pair of goals. 5. Bayport-Blue Point (N.Y.), 13-1
Ava Meyn (Maryland) had three goals and one assist, Eva Carvahlo (Albany) netted a hat trick, Aubrie Eisfeld (Clemson) had two goals and one assist, and Erika Kreuscher (Stony Brook) had one goal and one assist in a 12-9 win over Shoreham-Wading River (N.Y.). Previous: 4

Alyssa Lorefice (Rutgers) had three goals and two assists, Ashley Mennella (UMass) had a hat trick, Jolie Schiavo (James Madison) and Vanessa Pollina (Adelphi) had two goals apiece, and Maribella Marciano (Lehigh) made 12 saves in a 12-9 win over Westhampton (N.Y.). Previous: 7

Michaela Molgano (Penn) had four goals, Averie Smith (Yale) had three goals and one assist, Amanda Backer and LeeLee Gaffney had two goals apiece and Ashley Clark (Harvard) and Kim Colucci (William & Mary) had one goal and two assists apiece in a 20-4 win over Seaford (N.Y.). Previous: 8

Allie Pisano scored three goals and had three draw controls, Morgan Livingston (Arizona State) had two goals and one assist, McKenna Anderson (Arizona State) scored twice, and Maia Pronti (Georgetown) had three assists in a 14-10 loss to Cicero-North Syracuse. Previous: 5

Mid-Atlantic Top 10
The IAAM A Conference proved all year to be full of gifted teams that could win on any given day. Kudos to Maryvale (Md.) for being the team that came out on top in the end to make a huge jump to No. 2 in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The Lions celebrated their first A Division title in 23 years.
Archbishop Spalding (Md.) also put together an impressive late-season run to reach the title game and that achievement earned a reward of a No. 3 ranking. McDonogh (Md.) and St. Paul’s (Md.) round out a conference that again proved to have such quality top to bottom.
Manchester Valley (Md.) has begun its run to try to return a state title and finish off an unbeaten season. No. 1 Episcopal (Pa.) is also unbeaten, but it’ll face one of its traditionally toughest challenges when it tries to beat No. 7 Agnes Irwin (Pa.) for the second time this season.
Like Spalding, Good Counsel (Md.) overcame several key injuries early to put together a strong second half of the season that culminated in its fourth straight conference championship.
No. 9 Chatham (N.J.) picked up some hardware as county champion, and Stone Ridge (Md.) re-enters the rankings at No. 10 after avenging a pair of its losses from the regular season to snare a third straight ISL title.

1. Episcopal (Pa.), 17-0
Kate Dente scored four goals – including her career 100th – and had three assists in a 19-1 win over Springside Chestnut Hill (Pa.) in this week’s only game. Quinn Whitaker also had four goals and five draw controls, Tegan Cook delivered five assists and Maura Irish scored a hat trick. This week features a second showdown with No. 7 Agnes Irwin (Pa.). 2. Maryvale (Md.), 13-5
Seeded fourth, the Lions put together a scintillating run to win their first IAAM A championship since 2002. After a dominant 18-9 win over Notre Dame (Md.) in the quarterfinals, Maryvale had to avenge a pair of back-to-back one-goal losses from the regular season. First, Maryvale rallied from a 6-2 halftime deficit and won on a free-position goal from freshman Maddie Moran less than a minute into overtime, 9-8, over top-seeded McDonogh (Md.) in the semifinals. Moran, Emma Mohn and Lainey Minderlein all scored two goals apiece, Cayden Reese dished out three assists and goalie Tessa DeLuca made four saves. That set up a final against second-seeded Archbishop Spalding (Md.), and the Lions won 7-5 with Minderlein scoring five times, including twice in the final 90 seconds for the decisive goals, the midfield led by Chloe Thomas and Kendall Carfine limiting Spalding scorers and DeLuca making six saves. 3. Archbishop Spalding (Md.), 13-5
The Cavaliers advanced to the IAAM A championship game with a 10-9 semifinal win over defending champion St. Paul’s (Md.). on a late goal by Makenzie Brewer and standout goalkeeping by Ella Davis. It marked their eighth straight win. Spalding fell in the title game, 7-5, to Maryvale despite two goals and an assist from Ellie Roberts, one step shy of their first IAAM title despite losing two of their top players to season-ending injuries midway through the year. 4. McDonogh (Md.), 14-3
The top-seeded Eagles fell to Maryvale (Md.) 9-8 in the IAAM semifinals to end their season. Payton Magday and Parker Kitchel scored a pair of goals apiece and Kitchel also had an assist. Reagan O’Donovan made eight saves. Previous: 2
5. St. Paul's (Md.), 12-4
The Gators won the last three IAAM championships, but could not pull out a fourth straight in the country’s toughest conference. Third-seeded St. Paul’s lost, 10-9, to Archbishop Spalding in the semifinals to end their season. St. Paul’s won six straight games leading into the semifinal loss. Previous: 3
6. Manchester Valley (Md.), 15-0
After a first-round bye, the top-seeded Mavericks opened Class 2A playoffs with a 20-4 win over Winters Mill (Md.). The win helped them advance for a scheduled May 12 2A West I Region final game against Century (Md.). Manchester Valley beat Century, 15-2, in the regular season. Previous: 5
7. Agnes Irwin (Pa.), 15-2
The Owls opened the week with a 13-9 win over Notre Dame Academy (Pa.) with Caroline Chisholm scoring five goals, Catie Holmes adding a hat trick and Chelsea Kim making six saves. Agnes Irwin tries to avenge one of its season losses when it plays at Episcopal Academy (Pa.) this week. Previous: 6
8. Good Counsel (Md.), 17-3
The Falcons were scheduled to face St. John’s College (D.C.) for their fourth straight WCAC crown on May 12. It’s their 20th straight appearance in the title game. Top-seeded Good Counsel blitzed Elizabeth Seton (Md.) 25-4 in the WCAC quarterfinals, then defeated fourth-seeded Bishop Ireton (Va.) 14-10 in the semifinals. The Falcons had won 13 straight games heading into the championship contest. Previous: 7
9. Chatham (N.J.), 13-1
The Cougars breezed to the Morris County Tournament title with a 10-3 win over Mendham (N.J.) in the final. It was their fifth straight finals appearance but their first county crown in three years. Ashlyn Carpenter had a monster game with five goals and two assists while Grace Hallahan and Annie Irish had two goals apiece. Peyton Furst provided three assists. Annie Alden stopped 14 shots. Irish scored a hat trick and Furst had two goals and two assists while Leah Tapper and Lilly Arps both had a goal and two assists apiece in a 13-9 win over Morris Knolls (Md.) in the semifinal. They face Mendham again to start the week, but also face Oak Knoll (N.J.) and Montclair Kimberley (N.J.). Previous: 10
10. Stone Ridge (Md.), 17-5
The Gators avenged two of their regular-season losses on their way to their third straight Independent School League championship. In the semifinals, Sarah White celebrated her birthday with an overtime 14-13 game-winner over Potomac (Va.). In the championship game, Stone Ridge pulled together for a 13-10 win over top-seeded St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.) to end their season on a high note. South Top 10
There’s a new team atop the South Region after a state championship upset.
Lake Highland (Fla.) assumes the top spot after a one-goal win over previous No. 1 American Heritage-Delray (Fla.) Lake Highland is the first Florida team to upend American Heritage in three years, since they beat them for the 2022 title.
No. 3 Cambridge (Ga.) and No. 4 Milton (Ga.) will play for their respective division titles this week. They’re trying to stay ahead of a Hockaday (Texas) team that earned its fifth straight state crown in impressive fashion.
Plant (Fla.) is the lone team in the rankings with an unblemished season after they completed a 24-0 year with a win over No. 10 Lake Mary (Fla.) in their state title tilt. Lake Mary used an overtime thriller to reach the final.

1. Lake Highland (Fla.), 20-4
The Highlanders captured their first state championship since 2022 by stunning defending champs American Heritage-Delray (Fla.) 6-5. Giselle Jaskiewicz scored twice in the win and had four goals and two assists in a 17-5 semifinal win over Episcopal Jacksonville (Fla.). Previous: 10
2. American Heritage-Delray (Fla.), 18-3
The Stallions suffered their first in-state loss in three years, falling 6-5 to Lake Highland in the state final — a repeat of the 2022 championship outcome. They advanced with a 12-3 win over Community School Naples (Fla.). Previous: 1
3. Cambridge (Ga.), 18-2
The Bears reached the final four after a 19-5 win over Mount Paran Christian (Ga.) and a playoff victory over Centennial (Ga.). They will face Walton (Ga.) in the Division I title game. Previous: 2
4. Milton (Ga.), 19-2
The Eagles earned a spot in the state final by defeating Lassiter (Ga.) 12-7, following a dominant 19-0 win over Decatur (Ga.). They face Creekview (Ga.) for the championship. Previous: 3
5. Hockaday (Texas), 19-1
The Daisies won their fifth straight state championship, defeating The Woodlands (Texas) 20-8 with big games from Sunnie Wang and Mae Flanagan. In the semifinals, they topped Flower Mound (Texas) 19-13. Previous: 4
6. IMG Academy (Fla.), 10-4
The Ascenders closed out the season with a 12-11 win over Cherry Hill West (N.J.). Charlotte Vandenberg led the team with 33 goals and 14 assists, while Avery Adkin recorded 19 caused turnovers. Notable wins included one over St. Anne’s-Belfield (Va.). Previous: 5
7. Plant (Fla.), 24-0
The Panthers completed a perfect season by defeating Lake Mary (Fla.) 10-7, building a 9-2 halftime lead. They reached the final after a 17-6 win over Hagerty (Fla.). Previous: 6
8. Anderson (Texas), 12-1
The Trojans’ unbeaten run ended in a 10-6 loss to Southlake (Texas) in the state quarterfinals. Jillian Murphy led the team with 52 goals and 26 assists. Previous: 7
9. Oceanside Collegiate (S.C.), 18-4
The Landsharks claimed the state title with a 12-8 win over Bishop England (S.C.). Teagan Scott posted six goals and three assists in the game and totaled 91 goals and 63 assists on the season. Kaitlyn Boerst added 61 goals and 45 assists. Previous: 9
10. Lake Mary (Fla.), 19-4
The Rams lost to Plant (Fla.) 10-7 in the state title game after a dramatic 6-5 overtime win against Vero Beach (Fla.) in the semifinals. Previous: 8

Midwest Top 10
It was a quieter week for the Midwest Region though teams in several states are starting to gear up for playoffs. No team changed positions, and most had their way during what was an almost perfect week record-wise for the Top 10.
It couldn’t be perfect with No. 1 Loyola Academy (Ill.) facing No. 6 Hinsdale Central (Ill.). Loyola won the top-flight matchup. No. 2 New Trier (Ill.) kept pace including a convincing win over one of Wisconsin’s top teams, and No. 4 Upper Arlington (Ohio) bounced back from a tough week with a pair of quality wins.
No. 7 Carmel (Ind.) kept its long winning streak going and will be the top seed for their playoffs with No. 8 Guerin Catholic (Ind.) just behind as the second seed. No. 9 Prior Lake (Minn.) and No. 10 Hudson (Ohio) each continued to their perfect starts.

1. Loyola Academy (Ill.), 17-2
The Ramblers ended their regular season in fine form, doubling up on Hinsdale Central (Ill.), then topping York (Ill.) by a comfortable margin. Molly Dwyer continued to excel, including four goals, four draw controls, four ground balls, three caused turnovers and two assists against the Red Devils, while fellow sophomore Jillian Rocchio had eight draw controls and senior Keira Cushing added a hat trick. 2. New Trier (Ill.), 15-3
The Trevians continued to roll with 11 straight wins since a loss at the Ramblers in early April. Senior Ellie Bornhoeft impressed in New Trier’s first game of the week, a 15-5 win over Oak Park-River Forest (Ill.), with four goals, an assist and seven draw controls. Junior Meg Gallagher saved 75 percent of the shots she faced against the Huskies, while New Trier finished the week by doubling up on one of Wisconsin’s top teams: University School of Milwaukee. 3. Olentangy Liberty (Ohio), 17-1
The Patriots’ high-octane attack compiled 66 goals in three games this week. Junior Aubrey Bartosik has facilitated at a remarkable rate. Her 10 assists in their win over Olentangy Orange marked her third double-digit assist performance in a five-game stretch for Liberty. Senior Corinna Hilmas and junior Megan Benton also stood out in that win with six and five goals, respectively. Previous: 3
4. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 13-4
The Golden Bears rallied from back-to-back one-goal losses to Land of Lincoln powers New Trier and Loyola Academy with a 2-0 week, including a 15-10 win over rival New Albany (Ohio) Saturday. Junior Ellie King had four goals and seven draw controls; senior Brogan Wiles had two goals and three assists; and junior Berkeley Thomas had two goals, two assists and five draw controls in the win. 5. St. Francis DeSales (Ohio), 16-1
The Stallions passed a number of tests in running their win streak to 13, including edging Thomas Worthington (Ohio) by a goal. DeSales will be plenty tested entering the postseason as four of its last six wins have come by five goals or fewer. Previous: 5
6. Hinsdale Central (Ill.), 14-5
Entering Saturday’s game having lost three of their last four, the Red Devils bounced back in style with a 13-2 win over Rockford, one of Michigan’s top teams. Hinsdale Central gets one more chance to impress in the regular season with a May 15 tilt against a top in-state foe in Benet Academy. Previous: 6
7. Carmel (Ind.), 16-3
The Greyhounds have won nine straight, including Wednesday’s 13-9 win over Bluegrass State power Kentucky Country Day, yielding just 4.6 goals per game over their win streak. Senior Elle Tomalia had a big performance in that game with three goals, three assists and eight draw controls. Avery Goehl added her 100th career goal days later in Carmel’s postseason opener while Breckin Hare and Sophie Mock also had big weeks. Previous: 7
8. Guerin Catholic (Ind.), 16-1
The Golden Eagles ended their regular season on a seven-game win streak, out-scoring Culver Academy (Ind.) and Park Tudor (Ind.) by a combined margin of 30-8. Guerin Catholic is the two seed in the upcoming Class 2A state tournament, trailing only top-seeded Carmel, with the two meeting in the last three state championship games. Previous: 8
9. Prior Lake (Minn.), 9-0
After a couple of close wins, the Lakers rolled this past week, topping three in-state foes (Rosemount, Shakopee and Eden Prairie) by double-digit margins. Prior Lake scored an absurd 64 goals across those three games, including huge weeks from Lauryn Knutson (eight goals, 13 assists), Abby Grove (15 goals, five assists), Emerson Mattox (14 goals, six assists) and Tali Baldzicki (10 goals, five assists). 10. Hudson (Ohio), 16-0
With the weather finally getting nice, the Explorers had the chance to play and win four games, scoring 15-plus goals in all four. A favorite stat for Hudson coach Margie Anderson might be the fact that 142 of the team’s 240 goals have come off of assists. It also doesn’t hurt that senior Lexie St. Pierre has already topped 100 draw controls this season. Previous: 10

West Top 10
There’s just one newcomer in the West Region. Regis Jesuit (Colo.) has won 12 of its last 13 games, including a narrow one-goal victory over Colorado Academy (Colo.) to move into the rankings at No. 10. They will take a shot at No. 9 ThunderRidge (Colo.) in one of the intriguing matchups this week.
There is plenty of playoff action to bring out the best in teams. No. 1 Coronado (Calif.) tries to add its unbeaten record. No. 6 Mira Costa (Calif.) is also perfect thus far.
California teams San Ramon Valley, St. Ignatius and Sacred Heart Prep are all perched to make moves should any teams stumble. Valor Christian (Colo.) headlines the Colorado teams that are ranked and the No. 5 Eagles have advanced to a semifinal showdown. No. 8 Evergreen (Colo.) also heads into a semifinal of its own.

The Islanders had a first-round bye in the CIF-San Diego Open Section playoffs and will take on San Marcos (Calif.) in the semifinals on May 13. Previous: 1

No. 1-seeded San Ramon Valley gears up to take on Marin Catholic (Calif.) in the CIF-NCS semifinals on May 13. On the road to the semis, the Wolves downed Acalanes (Calif.), 19-7 in round one then defeated San Marin (Calif.), 21-14. Previous: 2
3. St. Ignatius (Calif.), 15-4
St. Ignatius takes on Woodside (Calif.) in the CCS Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament quarterfinals on May 13. Previous: 3
4. Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.), 16-2
Sacred Heart Prep is battling for its second-ever CCS championship, first since 2021, and will take on Gunn (Calif.) in the quarterfinals on May 13. Previous: 4
5. Valor Christian (Colo.), 15-1
Valor Christian dominated its first two playoff victories, taking down Castle View (Colo.), 16-3 in the opening round, then defeating Denver East (Colo.), 15-5 in the quarterfinals. Sophomore Gia Bigelow combined for 19 draw controls, nine goals and three assists. She picked up five ground balls and caused five turnovers. Up next is No. 4 seed Fairview (Colo.) in the CHSAA Class 5A semifinals for a trip to the title game on May 16. Previous: 5
6. Mira Costa (Calif.), 18-0
Mira Costa received a bye to the quarterfinals in the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs where the Mustangs defeated JSerra Catholic (Calif.), 10-7. In a tightly contested semifinals matchup, Mira Costa edged Marlborough (Calif.), 14-13 to advance to the title game against No. 7 Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.) on May 16. Previous: 6
7. Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.), 19-2
Foothill-Santa Ana smoked Mater Dei (Calif.), 16-4 in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinals before securing its spot in the championship after defeating San Clemente (Calif.), 12-7. The Knights, looking for their first CIF-SS championship since 2023, take on an undefeated No. 6 Mira Costa (Calif.) in the title game May 16. Previous: 7
8. Evergreen (Colo.), 14-2
After a bye to the second round, Evergreen defeated Horizon (Colo.), 19-4 then took down Aspen (Colo.), 18-9. The Cougars are up against fourth-seeded Mead (Colo.) next for a chance to play the winner of Battle Mountain (Colo.) and Green Mountain (Colo.) in the championship game. Previous: 8
9. ThunderRidge (Colo.), 14-2
ThunderRidge totaled 37 goals with 17 against in the first two rounds of the CHSAA Class 5A tournament. The Grizzlies defeated Northfield (Colo.), 21-10, and Kent Denver (Colo.), 16-7. At least three players scored three or more goals in each game. Next is No. 3 seed Regis Jesuit (Colo.) for a spot to play in the title game. Previous: 9
