Elsmo will be inducted as a truly great contributor into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame on January 10.

There’s not much that Crista Samaras hasn’t accomplished in the lacrosse world.

“He just liked to see things be done the right way,” said Hall of Fame player Vinnie Sombrotto, a member of Flatley’s 1982 U.S. team.

The 2025 inductees are Ned Crotty, Matt Danowski, Leif Elsmo, Maggie Faulkner, Tom Flatley (posthumous), Christie Jenkins Kemezis, Crista Samaras, and Kristin Sommar Jenney.

The eight-person class was formally inducted Saturday night at Baltimore's Renaissance Harborplace Hotel.

The Class of 2024 features four world-class players who helped redefine the sport at the turn of the century, a pair of legendary Division III coaches and two decorated officials.

Northwestern went from a disbanded varsity program playing club lacrosse to a dynasty that redefined the women’s game.

“I just have a passion for this sport,” Klecha-Porter said.

Rabil will be inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame on January 11.

Cantele retired following the 2022 season as the second winningest coach in NCAA Division III history.
