Ridgewood (N.J.) picked up another big win, Wantagh (N.Y.) is off to a fast start and Pittsford (N.Y.) remains unbeaten as they debut in this week's public schools-only rankings.

Ward Melville (N.Y.) and Sayville (N.Y.) won New York showdowns, while Conestoga (Pa.) suffered narrow loss after winning a state semifinal rematch.

The Golden Bears ran their win streak to 11 to take over the top spot in the Midwest, while unbeaten Northport (N.Y.) and St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Va.) are rising in their regions.
