North Carolina '21What can’t she do?
After helping North Carolina to a national championship in her final collegiate season, Ally Mastroianni made the 2022 U.S. women’s field team as a draw specialist and she dominated, but it’s her all-around game that has made her a valuable force in the U.S. team system.
Mastroianni’s 38 draw controls at the 2022 World Lacrosse championship was a U.S. tournament record. The next year she helped the U.S. sixes team avenge an earlier loss to Canada to win the Super Sixes event. Then she learned how to play box lacrosse and helped the U.S. win the inaugural World Lacrosse Women’s Box Championship in 2024.
In between, she’s become one of the best pro players in the sport, proving time and again that she’ll meet any challenge the sport has to offer.
