Whether you are brand new to officiating, a less experienced official or an official looking to reach your maximum potential to take the next step in your career, our developmental clinics are designed to help you achieve your goal.

USA Lacrosse College Player Academy (CPOA) - Level 1 Clinics
USA Lacrosse, in conjunction with the IWLCA, offers a new officials' clinic for current and recent women’s lacrosse college players. Participants experience hands-on training activities as well as field training on live games. Upon completion of the clinic, along with the Rules and Penalties Online Course and annual exam and professional development course, the participants will be USA Lacrosse Certified Officials.
This clinic is the first step in developing your skills as a girls' lacrosse official and will set you up for success if you choose to move up and work higher level games.
The registration fee covers the classroom and on-field training and evaluation/rating. Lunch is provided at the all day on-field sessions. Attendees are responsible for travel and lodging expenses. Dates and locations for 2026 women's clinics are below.

ODP Presenter Application
USA Lacrosse is expanding our official’s development program with new interactive training sessions and topics. These new sessions will be under an hour long and provide specific learning opportunities. Examples of possible sessions would be “Shooting Space and Three Seconds”, “Effective Communication with Sidelines”, “Managing Dangerous Play”, or “Preparing for your season”.
We are actively seeking topic ideas and new presenters/trainers as we build out this program.
