Syracuse '13A veteran on the U.S. team, Becca Block remains at the top of her game after an outstanding summer in Athletes Unlimited
One of three returnees to the veteran U.S. team defense, Becca Block will be leaned on heavily at this year's world championship. A member of the national team program since 2012, Block is looking for her second gold medal.
Block has played in all three professional lacrosse leagues — UWLX, WPLL and Athletes Unlimited — and was named as the top defender in Athletes Unlimited last season.

- Earned a gold medal at 2017 World Cup in England
- Also won a gold medal at The World Games 2017 in Poland

- IWLCA Defender of the Year at Syracuse in 2013
- Big East Defender of the Year in 2013

- Ranked first or second in draws her final three years at Syracuse, ending her career with 160

- Named outstanding defensive player in inaugural Athletes Unlimited season
- Finished No. 14 on the AU leaderboard
- Helped Long Island Sound win inaugural UWLX championship and later played in the WPLL
