Crista Samaras

Inducted as a truly great player, Samaras graduated from Princeton in 1999 as the school’s all-time leader in career goals (189) and career points (270). She was a three-time All-American attacker, including first team honors in 1998 & 1999. Samaras was also a two-time Ivy League Player of the Year (1998, 1999), as well as the Ivy Rookie of the Year in 1996. 

Samaras was twice selected to the NCAA’s All-Tournament team (1995 & 1996) and spent 10 years as a member of the U.S. Women’s national team program. She played on the 2001 and 2005 U.S. Women’s World Cup teams, winning gold in 2001 and silver in 2005.
