Kristin Sommar Jenney

Inducted as a truly great player, Sommar Jenney won four national championships at the University of Maryland (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000) while earning All-America honors three times as a midfielder. She earned All-ACC honors twice (1999 & 2000) and NCAA All-Tournament honors three times (1998, 1999, 2000). Sommar Jenney was also selected to the ACC’s 50th Anniversary Team in 2002. 

On the international level, Sommar Jenney played on both the 2001 and 2005 U.S. Women’s World Cup teams, winning gold in 2001 and silver in 2005.
