If you want to win championships, you want Megan Douty on your team.

Defenders don't always get the glory, but when you follow Megan Douty's career she's had plenty of triumphant moments. From helping her high school, Rumson-Fair Haven win its first Shore Conference title to national championships in her final two years at Maryland to a pair of gold medals with the U.S. team in the summer of 2017 to the inaugural WPLL championship with the New England Command, Douty simply wins.

The all-world defender will play alongside her college teammate, Alice Mercer, as the backbone of a defensive unit that will be a key to a run for what the U.S. team hopes will be a fourth straight world championship.
