Michelle Tumolo, a longtime player in the U.S. women’s national team program, is an assistant coach for the 2024 U.S. Women's U20 National Team.

Tumolo is the head coach at the United States Military Academy and led the Black Knights to its first NCAA tournament bid in 2023 while earning Patriot League Coach of the Year honors. Tumolo has led Army to a 27-9 record in her first two seasons, including a school-record 15 wins this season. Before arriving at Army, Tumolo went 29-13 in three seasons at Wagner, leading the Seahawks to the 2019 NCAA tournament. She has also been an assistant coach at Oregon, Florida and Syracuse.

Tumolo was a star player at Syracuse, finishing her career with 278 career points. She was a finalist for the Tewaaraton Award in 2012. Tumolo spent more than a decade playing in the U.S. national team program, highlighted by a World Cup championship in 2017 in Guildford, England when she scored 29 points (12g, 17a) in eight games to earn All-World honors and a gold medal at The World Games in Wroclaw, Poland.
