Molly Hendrick didn't grow up in a lacrosse hotbed, but she's held her own at every level.

Philadelphia is one of the traditional hotbeds of women's lacrosse. Lancaster, Pa., is a little over an hour from the Philly suburbs where the sport has thrived for generations, but Amish Country is a relative newcomer to the lacrosse scene. You wouldn't know that from watching Molly Hendrick play even though she didn't pick up a stick until she was 13 years old.

After scoring 432 goals at Manheim Township High School, including a staggering 179 as a senior, while twice earning USA Lacrosse All-America honors, Hendrick thrived at North Carolina. She was a two-time All-American with the Tar Heels and helped UNC win the 2016 national championship.
