FAQs

Do I need to register to be scouted?

No. There is no registration or payment required for scouting services. USA Lacrosse evaluators will attend the event and assess players throughout tournament competition.

If I am being scouted at an event, should I still attend a Regional ID Clinic?

Yes. Attending a Regional ID Clinic is the best way to be directly evaluated for the program. Regional ID Clinics are the only events where players are guaranteed an evaluation by an official USA Lacrosse U.S. Youth National Team evaluator.

When will I hear from USA Lacrosse evaluators?

USA Lacrosse evaluators and NTDP staff will contact selected players after the event concludes. Player contact information will be provided by the tournament operator. Invitations to the National Combine are typically sent within 14 days following the conclusion of the event.

Which age groups will be evaluated?

The age groups evaluated at each event will depend on the divisions participating in that specific tournament or showcase.

What are evaluations based on?

Evaluations are based on multiple factors, including player performance within their level of competition, recruiting profile information, and coach recommendations.

How do I get my event added to the U.S. Youth National Team Scouting Event calendar?

Tournament operators interested in having their event considered for the U.S. Youth National Team Scouting Event calendar should contact Amy Markwort at amarkwort@usalacrosse.com for additional information.
