Joe Amplo returned to the U.S. men's team coaching staff after serving as the defensive coordinator for the gold-medal winning 2018 world championship team.

Joe Amplo enters his second season as the head coach of the Navy men’s lacrosse program after being introduced as the ninth head coach of the Midshipmen on June 5, 2019.

Charley Toomey is the newest member of the U.S. men's team coaching staff. Toomey will coach in his first world championship for the U.S. in 2023.

The 2021 season will be the 16th as head coach at Loyola for Toomey. The Greyhounds ascended to the top of college lacrosse in 2012, winning Loyola's first-ever NCAA Division I Championship.

John Danowski is one of the most respected college lacrosse coaches in the nation and has been the head coach for the men's U.S. national team since 2016. Danowski led the U.S. to the 2018 world championship in Netanya, Israel and will be the head coach for the 2023 World Lacrosse Men's World Championship in Southern California.

Nina Walker, MA, LAT, ATC has served as the National Athletic Trainers Association liaison to the US Lacrosse Sports Science and Safety Committee since 2015 and is the founder of the Lacrosse Athletic Trainers Society. She serves as a staff athletic trainer for the University of North Carolina, working with the Tar Heels’ men’s lacrosse program. Walker is a graduate of Boston University and earned her master’s degree from the University of North Carolina.

Jim Starkey, MS, ATC, CSCS, FRCms is a strength and conditioning specialist with IMPACT Sports Performance and serves as the head athletic trainer for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League. He is a graduate of Cortland State University and earned his master’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University.

Michael Khair, M.D. (ortho) is an orthopedic surgeon at The Carrell Clinic in Dallas. A graduate of Bowdoin College who earned his medical degree at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, Khair played lacrosse at the high school and collegiate levels before suffering an injury at Bowdoin. He is currently a team physician with Southern Methodist University and the Episcopal School of Dallas, and an assistant team physician with the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys.

Mark Mirabelli, M.D., FAAFP (primary care) is an associate professor and the program director for the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Rochester. He also serves as a team physician for SUNY Geneseo, St. John Fisher College and the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League. Mirabelli is a graduate of Cornell University and earned his medical degree from New York Medical College.
