Introducing the USA Lacrosse Player Academy – helping youth players develop the foundation for a successful lacrosse career with two days of Sixes instruction.
Elevate your game like never before this summer at the new USA Lacrosse Player Academy, featuring coaching from some of the top U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Team players. These elite athletes will help you unlock your potential as a player, providing advanced instruction for youth players to develop key skills. With the LA28 Olympics on the horizon, our USA Lacrosse Player Academy coaches will empower youth players to both learn the new Sixes discipline and gain an edge with this emerging format of lacrosse.
The 2-day camp is designed and operated by USA Lacrosse National Team Players with assistance from USAL Certified Coaches. The acadmies will focus on player development through the Sixes format to focus on shooting, dodging, passing, communication, and lacrosse IQ development. Players will participate in three 3-hour drill & skill sessions with the camp concluding in round robin game play.
The inaugural Atlanta event will feature: Matt Rambo (U.S. National Team, Maryland Whipsnakes), Liam Byrnes (U.S. National Team, Philadelphia Waterdogs, Georgia Swarm), Mac Pons (Maryland ’17), Amy Moreau (Athletes Unlimited, Davidson Assistant Coach), Kathleen Migron Crum (Head Coach, Gardner-Webb) and others.
The Dallas event will feature: Mike Pressler (New York Atlas HC, 37 seasons as NCAA Coach), Ryan Terefenko (U.S. National Team, Denver Outlaws, Halifax Thunderbirds), Elijah Gash (Maryland Whipsnakes, Panther City Lacrosse Club), Lizzie Colson (U.S. National Team, Athletes Unlimited), Dempsey Arsenault (U.S. National Team, Athletes Unlimited), Rachel Hall (Boston College ’23) and others.
Player Academies are designed for boys' and girls' players in the U10 – U14 age groups. Click on the locations listed below for more information on each individual camp.
