SPARKS, Md. — Shea Baker (Boston College/Ithaca, N.Y.), Brigid Duffy (Army West Point/Queensbury, N.Y.) and Madison Taylor (Northwestern/Wantagh, N.Y.) have been named captains for the 2024 U.S. Women’s U20 National Team that will compete in the World Lacrosse Women’s U20 World Championship next month in Hong Kong, China.

When I took the seat, the mandate was to build off the incredible work my predecessor Steve Stenersen had accomplished. I walked into an organization that was financially sound and had a significant amount of knowledge and experience.
With that said, we were still coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Return to play and return to business were uncertain.
In less than a month, the 2024 U.S. Women’s U20 National Team will travel to Hong Kong, China in pursuit of a world championship.
For nearly 180 high school girls’ lacrosse players invited to compete in the USA Lacrosse National Team Development Program Combine, the pursuit starts now.
They come from high schools in 19 states and the District of Columbia and represent some of the most recognizable club programs in the country.
USA Lacrosse has selected more than 150 of the nation’s best high school boys’ lacrosse players to compete in the National Team Development Program Combine.
Representing high schools from 28 states and the District of Columbia, the players (listed below) qualified for the combine during a series of regional tryouts at which they were evaluated for tactical, technical and physical performance.
UTICA, N.Y. — World Lacrosse today announced that Turning Stone Resort Casino has joined the upcoming 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships as an Official Event Partner. As part of the partnership, the Mary C. Winder Community Center – Oneida Indian Nation’s new 90,000-square-foot community center – will host four games of the historic double world championship, which will feature the best men’s and women’s lacrosse athletes from around the globe.
Athletes Unlimited launches its fourth season of professional women’s lacrosse this Thursday, July 18, beginning a four-week run on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md. through August 11.

FREDERICA, Del. — Two days of highly-competitive action featuring 1,358 athletes from 27 states at the 2024 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals at DE Turf came to a fitting end — three championship games decided by a single goal, including two in overtime.
The Yellow Jackets won overtime games in the 13U and 15U age groupings while Mass Elite brought home the 14U championship.
SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse and Lacrossewear have entered into a partnership with Lacrossewear serving as the Official Opening Ceremony Apparel provider for the 2024 U.S. Women’s U20 National Team.
The world championship takes place in Hong Kong, China from August 15-24. The apparel from Lacrossewear will be designed to reflect the team's patriotism and national pride. The U.S. is the reigning world champion at the junior level (formerly U19) and has won the event five of the seven times it has been held.
FREDERICA, Del. — The opening day of the 2024 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals saw plenty of down-to-the-wire battles among the 103 games played at DE Turf. Twenty-four of the 69 competing teams advanced to Wednesday’s playoff round while the remaining teams will continue with consolation play.
