World Lacrosse’s new streaming service, WL TV, will carry all of the action from the World Lacrosse Women’s U20 Championship from Hong Kong, China.

World Lacrosse partnered with leading multisport streaming platform and services provider Sportall earlier this year to deliver WL TV, a custom digital video platform that will offer live and on-demand content to lacrosse fans around the world.

Head coach Ginny Capicchioni and her staff have named the 32 players invited to training camp later this month who will be vying for a spot on the final roster for the 2024 U.S. Women’s Box Team.

The three-day training camp will be August 23-25 in Utica, New York in preparation for the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships, Sept. 20-29, also in Utica. This is the first time that World Lacrosse has hosted a women’s championship in box lacrosse.

“Psychology Today” claims that there is no evidence to suggest that a telepathic connection exists between twins.

Don’t tell that to Ava and Brinn Findora, two USA Select U16 hopefuls competing in the USA Lacrosse National Team Development Program Combine this week at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, Md.

As Ava, a draw specialist and midfielder, and Brinn, an attack-midfield hybrid, glided across the Zolenas and Paw Print turf fields in temperatures nearing triple digits, their inherent chemistry was evident.

Telepathic? Surely not. But then …

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — John Balsamo and Michael McColgan spent this summer playing lacrosse in front of sunscreen-lathered lacrosse coaches taking notes from their camping chairs. It’s showcase season, you see, and as rising high school juniors each of them hopes to hear from some of those coaches come Sept. 1.

This week was different. From the moment they arrived in Baltimore for the USA Lacrosse National Team Development Program Combine, they sensed a greater purpose.

SPARKS, Md. — Shea Baker (Boston College/Ithaca, N.Y.), Brigid Duffy (Army West Point/Queensbury, N.Y.) and Madison Taylor (Northwestern/Wantagh, N.Y.) have been named captains for the 2024 U.S. Women’s U20 National Team that will compete in the World Lacrosse Women’s U20 World Championship next month in Hong Kong, China.

In less than a month, the 2024 U.S. Women’s U20 National Team will travel to Hong Kong, China in pursuit of a world championship.

For nearly 180 high school girls’ lacrosse players invited to compete in the USA Lacrosse National Team Development Program Combine, the pursuit starts now.

They come from high schools in 19 states and the District of Columbia and represent some of the most recognizable club programs in the country.

USA Lacrosse has selected more than 150 of the nation’s best high school boys’ lacrosse players to compete in the National Team Development Program Combine.

Representing high schools from 28 states and the District of Columbia, the players (listed below) qualified for the combine during a series of regional tryouts at which they were evaluated for tactical, technical and physical performance.

Athletes Unlimited launches its fourth season of professional women’s lacrosse this Thursday, July 18, beginning a four-week run on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md. through August 11.

AU’s final roster of 56 players, set last week, features many of the world’s best players, including two-time reigning AU champion Taylor Moreno, recent collegiate stars Charlotte North, Izzy Scane and Ally Mastroianni, two-time world champions Marie McCool and Meg Douty, and three-time AU medalist Sam Apuzzo.
