A veteran leader and prolific scorer
Pannell, one of two three-time national team players on this year's U.S. team, is a tri-captain alongside Jesse Bernhardt and Michael Ehrhardt. Pannell has experienced the pain of losing in the gold medal match along with the elation of triumph and that experience will be counted on heavily by the coaching staff.
Often overlooked, Kieran McArdle is getting his due
Lightly recruited out of high school, Kieran McArdle seized his opportunity at St. John's by rewriting the school's record book. He was a three-time All-American and became to the first player in St. John's history to top 100 goals, 100 assists and 200 points.
He was the No. 5 overall pick in the 2014 MLL Draft and set league rookie records for goals (34) and points (49) in a season, earning rookie of the year honors with the launch. He went on to be a three-time MLL All-Star.
Trevor Baptiste calls him "Danny Lockdown"
Danny Logan has emerged as not just one of the top defensive midfielders in the sport, but one of the best players period. His peers in the PLL ranked him as the 12th overall best player in the league, the only SSDM ranked in the Top 25.
Sniper, winner, clutch.
Connor Kelly has been a winner throughout his lacrosse career. Kelly was a key cog in Maryland's 2017 national championship, the school's first in 42 seasons. Two years later, Kelly helped the Whipsnakes win the inaugural Premier Lacrosse League championships. Selected by the Waterdogs with their first pick in the PLL expansion draft, Kelly helped the Waterdogs win last year's PLL title.
A dominant faceoff force

Ierlan holds 10 NCAA records over his career at Albany, Yale and Denver, including every groundball record tracked by the NCAA and faceoff wins in a season (393) and career (1,245).
Playing for the Redwoods in the PLL, Ierlan has won 58.7 of the faceoffs he's taken in the first two seasons (267 of 455) and was a PLL All-Star in 2021.
