The quiet closer.

Matt Dunn doesn't need the limelight, but his peers recognize and respect his ability as a dominant shutdown defender. Dunn has excelled in the field game while also expanding his skills in the box game where he has played with the Georgia Swarm and played for the 2019 U.S. box team that won a bronze medal.

After becoming the latest star of Maryland's infinite line of stellar defenseman, Dunn translated his success on professional level immediately. He's twice been named a pro league's top defenseman and has won two Premier Lacrosse League championships.

The versatile Liam Byrnes will fill many roles for the U.S. team

Liam Byrnes will play primarily as a longstick midfielder for the U.S. team, but as he has shown throughout his career, he can play anywhere. Byrnes can help on close defense and also has plenty of experience with a shortstick.

A member of the training team in 2018, Byrnes is set to take advantage of the opportunity to play in the world championship.

Mr. Do It All

Zach Goodrich made the U.S. team as a short stick defensive midfielder, but Goodrich has all of the skills and athletic ability to excel on either end of the field.

A three-year captain at Towson, he became his school's first two-time first team All-American and was named the nation's outstanding midfielder as a senior in 2019.

Charlie Bertrand is one of the emerging stars in the sport.

The lone small college player on the U.S. team roster, Bertrand led Merrimack to consecutive NCAA Division II championships in 2018 and 2019. He made it three straight collegiate championships when he scored 26 goals to help Virginia to the 2021 NCAA Division I championship as a grad transfer.

Bertrand has carried that success over to the professional level. He scored 18 goals in 10 games for the PLL's Redwoods in 2022 and has also earned a key role in the NLL.
