Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse headquarters will host some of the nation’s top high school boys’ lacrosse players for the National Senior All-American Game on Friday, June 21 at 7 pm. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased online.
Jo Ann "Josie" Harper, a longtime champion for women’s sports in the Ivy League and a member of the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame, passed away Sunday, June 16 following a battle against cancer. She was 81 years old.
Head coach Regy Thorpe has announced the 34 players that will be attending the U.S. Men’s Box National Team training camp from June 17-18 in Whitehall, Pa. The camp will be the final time the U.S. players get together before the World Lacrosse Box Championships in Utica, N.Y., from Sept. 20-29.
Thorpe, a former national box team player for the U.S., is coaching the U.S. at the world championship for the second time. The U.S. has won the bronze medal at each of the first five World Lacrosse box championships.
As a second year player for the PLL’s Boston Cannons, Ethan Rall has quickly established himself as one of the league’s premier long stick midfielders, earning second team All-Pro honors as a rookie in 2023. He was also a three-time All-American LSM at Rutgers who graduated as the school’s all-time leader with 85 caused turnovers.
USA Lacrosse and Gait Lacrosse have announced a three-year extension of the partnership between the two organizations that was originally signed in 2020. Gait Lacrosse wiil serve as an Official Equipment Supplier for the U.S. Women’s National Team Program through 2027.
Gait’s sponsorship includes four women’s national teams – the senior and U20 field teams, the. Box team and the sixes teams. All four will compete for World Lacrosse championships during the term of the agreement, beginning with the U20 team this August in Hong Kong, China.

The camp will be held from June 10-12 and will feature a public session on Tuesday, June 11 at 4 pm with no admission charge.
SPARKS, Md. – A combination of U.S. team veterans, professional players and recent/current college lacrosse stars make up the 24 players invited to a training camp at USA Lacrosse Headquarters for the U.S. sixes team as USA Lacrosse begins the build-up to the 2028 LA Olympics.
The camp will be held from June 10-12 and will feature a public session on Tuesday, June 11 at 6 pm with no admission charge.
USA Lacrosse has named the staffs for the U.S. Men’s and Women’s Sixes National Teams ahead of a training camp for both programs at USA Lacrosse headquarters from June 10-12. Earlier this spring, Lindsey Munday (women’s) and Andy Shay (men’s) were named as head coaches for the respective programs.
Nick Phillips, third-year president of Norwalk Junior Lacrosse (NJL) in Connecticut, says there is a little secret to making a new player feel like he or she is connected to lacrosse. It’s based on the same concept as Christmas morning.
“Give them new equipment,” Phillips said. “Used equipment is fine, but new equipment really helps players feel like they belong. Every child who is new to our sport feels more special with a new stick or a new helmet.”
Head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller has announced that 32 players will be invited to a June training camp for the 2024 U.S. Women’s U20 National Team. The camp will be held at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md., from June 19-21.
The 32 players are a combination of players named to the initial training team last summer and additional players that participated in the tryout process. The staff continued to evaluate players throughout the 2024 college and high school seasons and also made adjustments based on injuries to training team members.
