The fourth annual National Celebrate Lacrosse Week is set for Nov. 2-10, 2024 and a key highlight of the celebration will be free USA Lacrosse Pick Up & Play introductory clinics around the country. USA Lacrosse is currently soliciting hosts for these clinics for the 2024 cycle.
NEW YORK, N.Y. — Two-time defending champion Taylor Moreno leads a roster of the top lacrosse players in the world featured in Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse season four, which will return to USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland from July 18-August 11.
The 2024 USA Lacrosse WCLA Championship Tournament kicks off on Tuesday, May 7 with all 16 Division I teams playing in opening round games at the Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas. The Division II competition begins on Wednesday, May 8 with 12 teams in action.
The four-day event features a full schedule of games each day, culminating with the Division I and Division II championship games on Friday, May 10.
For Jen Nardi, executive director of the Brooklyn Crescents Lacrosse Club, the goals of her organization can be summarized in four words: Access. Opportunity. Instruction. Competition.
“We strive to make lacrosse accessible to all boys and girls in and around New York City,” Nardi said. “We’re trying to introduce the game to children by putting a lacrosse stick in their hand for the first time and then providing quality instruction from volunteers who love lacrosse.”
Undefeated CSU San Marcos, champion of the Western Women’s Lacrosse League, has received the number one seed in the Division II bracket of the 2024 USA Lacrosse Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA) National Championship, to be played May 7-10 at the Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas.

USA Lacrosse has named Dejon Hush of Seattle, Washington as recipient of the organization’s 2023 Gerald J. Carroll, Jr. Exemplary Coaching Award.
Through the years, Hush has served as a coach on many levels in the Pacific Northwest, ranging from youth to college. He currently serves as boys’ head coach at Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle.
