The World Games has announced the schedule for the men's and women's lacrosse events this summer and the U.S. men will play Germany, Great Britain and Australia in pool play. The U.S. women will play Australia, Japan and the Czech Republic during pool play.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, USA – The World Games announced the schedule for the men’s and women’s Lacrosse Sixes competitions this July in Birmingham, Alabama.

PHILADELPHIA and SPARKS, Md. – May 9, 2022 – The National Lacrosse League (@NLL) and USA Lacrosse today have announced a strategic partnership agreement to unify efforts to help the sport grow with a specific focus on box lacrosse.

The U.S. women’s national team will complete a three-day training camp in preparation for the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship with a public exhibition game against a team of players from Athletes Unlimited on Wednesday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Stony Brook University.

Pre-sale tickets are now on sale for $14 and group tickets (10 or more) are also available for $10 per ticket. USA Lacrosse members will receive an email with a link to purchase individual tickets at a discounted price of $12.

Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse season two will take place from July 21-August 14, with all games at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Baltimore and broadcast live exclusively on ESPN platforms.

Richie Moran, a Hall of Fame coach and a lifelong advocate for the sport, died on Sunday at the age of 85.

One of the most beloved figures in the sport’s history, Moran was a Long Island native who first gained notoriety as a standout midfielder for the powerhouse Sewanhaka High School teams. He went on to the University of Maryland, where he helped the Terps win the 1959 national championship.

SPARKS, Md. — Single day tickets for the 2022 World Lacrosse Women's Championship, which will be held from June 29 through July 9 at Towson (Md.) University, are now on sale.

USA Lacrosse will host six Next Collegiate League games on Tierney Field this coming Thursday beginning at 3 p.m. The Next Collegiate League features six men’s lacrosse teams from historic HBCU institutions — Bowie State University, Coppin State University, Delaware State University, Lincoln University, Morgan State University and the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore — playing under Olympic-style rules.

SPARKS, Md. — World Lacrosse has announced the schedule for the 2022 World Lacrosse Women's Championship, which will be held from June 29 through July 9 at Towson (Md.) University, and the opening game on June 29 will feature a rematch of the 2017 gold medal game between the United States and Canada.

USA Lacrosse and the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) have announced four training dates for the College Player Officials Academy (CPOA), a joint venture between the two organizations designed to recruit and train current lacrosse players to become the next generation of women’s game officials.
