The LA28 Olympics have released the dates and times for the competitions for all of the sports included in the program for the next summer Olympics. Lacrosse, returning to the program as a medal sport for the first time in over a century, will compete from July 24-29, 2028.
THE UNITED STATES NEEDED AN ANSWER. A four-goal halftime advantage had vanished, and Canada led 10-9 in the fourth quarter. It felt like 2006 all over again, the Canadians operating at peak efficiency as the Americans squeezed out empty possessions.
Offensive coordinator Joe Alberici turned to head coach Mike Pressler and suggested they invert with Ned Crotty, the youngest player on the team and the Tewaaraton Award winner that year.
“Needles!” Pressler yelled as players swarmed the sideline.
USA Lacrosse today announced its full schedule for the upcoming Denver Regional Academy on December 6-7, featuring an expert line-up of coaches and officials for the two-day educational event.
The USA Lacrosse Academy in Denver will be held at the Sonesta Hotel, with registration spots still available. The event is open to both USA Lacrosse members and non-members.
