SPARKS, Md. — Head coach Regy Thorpe has named a 66-man player pool for the U.S. Men’s Box National Team. Nearly 50 members of the team will participate in a training camp in Utica, N.Y. this weekend. They’ll be back in Utica the following weekend to compete in the North American Invitational from Sept. 29-30.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse announced today that Crysti Foote will coach the U.S. team that will compete at the 2023 World Lacrosse Women’s Super Sixes event taking place in Oshawa, Ontario from Oct. 6-8.

Foote, also an assistant coach for the U.S. women’s box team that will compete in the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships, was a star player and Tewaaraton finalist at Notre Dame who went on to play for Canada in the World Cup four times, helping the team win two silver and two bronze medals.

World Lacrosse today announced updated dates for its 2024 Box Championships. The world championships for men’s and women’s box lacrosse will now be held September 20-29, 2024, in Utica, New York, United States.

Originally scheduled to take place September 13-22, the championship dates were adjusted to better align with the global lacrosse calendar.

The 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships will mark the sixth championship for men and first for women in the discipline of box lacrosse, marking a historic first for men’s and women’s world titles to be decided at the same event.

SPARKS, Md. — The U.S. Men’s Box National Team will continue preparation for the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships by competing in the North American Invitational (LAXNAI), which runs from Sept. 28 through October 1 in Utica, N.Y.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse headquarters will be home to some of the sport’s best lacrosse players on the weekend of Oct. 13-15 for the 2023 USA Lacrosse Fall Classic.

The three-day event features the U.S. and Canadian men’s senior teams and women’s U20 teams, reigning NCAA women’s champion Northwestern, NCAA men’s semifinalist Penn State, the USA Select U16 and U18 boys’ and girls’ teams and high school-aged teams from the Haudenosaunee Nation and Ontario.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has named 44 of the nation’s top high school girls’ lacrosse players to the 2023 USA Select U16 and U18 teams. The players were selected following a national combine at USA Lacrosse headquarters that was held from August 7-9 and featured nearly 150 players. 

The 44 players come from high schools representing 11 states and the District of Columbia. Twelve of the 44 players are repeat selections from the 2022 USA Select teams.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has named 44 of the nation’s top high school boys’ lacrosse players to the 2023 USA Select U16 and U18 teams. The players were selected following a national combine at USA Lacrosse headquarters that was held from July 31-August 2 and featured 134 players. 

The 44 players come from high schools representing 15 states and the District of Columbia. Ten of the 44 players are repeat selections from the 2022 USA Select teams.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse will welcome 148 of the nation’s top high school girls’ lacrosse players to its national headquarters August 7-9 for its National Team Development Program (NTDP) National Combine. 

The 148 players, representing high schools from 20 states, were selected from 11 regional tryouts, a virtual application and returning USA Select team members.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has named Kristen Carr, Molly Ford Hutchinson, Megan Huether Nicotra, Caitlyn McFadden Phipps and Lauren Schwarzmann Skellchock as the girls’ coaches for the 2023 USA Select teams. Carr and Skellchock will coach the U18 team, Ford Hutchinson and Phipps will coach the U16 team and Huether Nicota will work with both teams.

All five coaches are returning to the program for at least the second year.
