SPARKS, Md. — Kelly Amonte Hiller, head coach of the 2024 U.S. Women’s U20 National team, has named her staff. The U.S. team will compete in the 2024 World Lacrosse Women’s U20 Championship in Hong Kong, China next summer.
Serving on the staff will be Angela McMahon (manager), Tim McCormack (assistant coach), Michelle Tumolo (assistant coach) and Ann Elliott Whidden (assistant coach).
SPARKS, Md. — The coaching staffs for the U.S. Men’s and Women’s Box National Teams will hold instructional clinics for boys and girls players aged 12-17 at three locations over the next few months.
The U.S. box teams are led by head coaches Regy Thorpe and Ginny Capicchioni and both have recently named their respective coaching staffs. Thorpe and Capicchioni are both alumni players of the U.S. national team program and highly-respected coaches and teachers.

The U.S. men’s and women’s box teams will compete in the World Lacrosse Box Championships in Utica, N.Y. in September 2024. The U.S. men’s team has captured the bronze medal at the previous five world championships, including in 2019 under Thorpe’s leadership, while this is the first time a world championship will be contested for women’s box lacrosse.
Athletes Unlimited announced on Tuesday morning that it will return to USA Lacrosse headquarters for the 2023 season. This is the third season for the women's lacrosse in this groundbreaking professional league and the 2023 lineup of players includes more than a dozen players that have own world championships for the U.S. women's national team.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, USA – World Lacrosse today announced that hosting rights to the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships have officially been awarded to Utica, New York, in the United States, where the sixth men’s and first women’s tournaments will run concurrently from September 13-22 of next year. Up to 30 men’s and 10 women’s teams are expected to compete in the 10-day world championship event.
SPARKS, Md. — Two of the best coaches in the history of lacrosse, Jenny Levy and Bill Tierney, will be honored at the 2nd annual USA Lacrosse Foundation Gala on June 7 at Gotham Hall in New York City. Members of the 2023 U.S. men’s national team will also be celebrated as they get ready to compete for the world championship this summer in San Diego.
The USA Lacrosse Foundation Gala debuted last year, honoring former U.S. team players Kyle Harrison, Paul Rabil and Crista Samaras, and helped raise over $650,000 to help USA Lacrosse grow and develop the sport.
USA Lacrosse will host the Next Collegiate League (NCL) for the second straight year on Tierney Field at the organization’s headquarters in Sparks, Md.
The NCL, an innovative league using a Sixes format with HBCU men’s lacrosse teams from the Mid-Atlantic region, played one round of games at USA Lacrosse last year, but will play its entire 2023 schedule at the facility.
The 2023 season begins this Sunday, April 2 at 11 a.m. with an eight-game schedule for the day.
