SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse will hold a series of player ID camps as part of the selection process for the 2024 U.S. Box National Teams. The first of these camps, and the only men’s camp, will be held Sunday, May 21 at the Utica University Nexus Center in Utica, N.Y.

USA Lacrosse has announced the regional tryout dates and locations for the 2023 National Team Development Program (NTDP). The NTDP is a three-step process for high school boys’ and girls’ lacrosse players that will ultimately end with 88 players being named to one of four USA Select teams that will play against international competition during the USA Lacrosse Fall Classic in October.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has announced that Regy Thorpe and Ginny Capicchioni will serve as the head coaches for the U.S. men’s and women’s box national teams, respectively, that will represent the United States in the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships.

More than 90 teams representing 36 girls’ lacrosse club programs from around the country are locked in for the 2023 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals this summer in Frederica, Del. The 14U age division is sold out and just two spots remain for the 13U and 15U age groups.

The USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals will be held July 11-12 at the DE Turf Sports Complex and will be run in partnership with STEPS Lacrosse and Top of the Bay for the third consecutive year. Teams can earn bids through historical performance or an application process.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse is excited to announce the spring 2023 schedule for Tierney Field, the home playing field at the organization’s national headquarters. A total of 35 games are currently scheduled from mid-February through mid-May, covering all three divisions of NCAA men’s and women’s lacrosse along with high school boys’ and girls’ lacrosse.

The 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship in San Diego will open with one of the best rivalries in the sport. The reigning champion United States will play against Canada on June 21 at 7 p.m.

The game is the first of 87 in the tournament, which will pit 30 countries from around the world. The United States and Canada have alternated world championships since 2002 with the U.S. edging Canada 9-8 on Tom Schreiber’s goal with one second remaining to win the gold medal at the 2018 world championship in Netanya, Israel.
