SPARKS, Md. — Nearly 175 of the nation’s top high school girls’ lacrosse players have accepted their invitations to participate in the USA Lacrosse National Team Development Program National Combine. The combine will take place at USA Lacrosse headquarters from July 28-31. The players were invited following a series of regional ID clinics at locations around the country, a virtual application process and from the pool of players that competed on last year’s U.S. Youth National Teams (formerly USA Select).

BEL AIR, Md. – The champions at the 2025 USA Lacrosse Nationals showed there are a lot of ways to win a championship during Wednesday’s action at Cedar Lane Regional Park. 

In the 15U age group, Mass Elite rode its defense to a second straight USA Lacrosse championship. Possession was the key for Yellow Jackets Friedman winning the 14U age group – also its second straight title and Yellow Jackets Babst rode momentum and offense to win the 13U championship.

The event featured more than 700 athletes from 36 club teams competing in 81 games over the two days.

BEL AIR, Md. – Dream big.

That’s the message from USA national team player Ellie Masera to the athletes competing at the USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals at Cedar Lane Regional Park. And she’s saying it specifically to the team she’s helping to coach – Igloo 2030 Arctic Blast in the 13U age group.

More than 700 girls’ lacrosse players from some of the top club programs in the country are competing in the two-day tournament in the 13U, 14U and 15U age brackets.

In a little more than three years, lacrosse will make its triumphant return to the Olympic Games. With the milestone date approaching, World Lacrosse announced some of the details around the format for lacrosse.

Lacrosse will be held during the second week of the 2028 LA Olympics, with games taking place from July 24–29, at Exposition Park Stadium, home of Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Football Club. The U.S. women’s sixes team will tour the stadium in early August during a training camp ahead of this summer’s World Games in China.

SPARKS, Md. — The world’s top lacrosse powers are coming to USA Lacrosse headquarters this fall for The Atlas Cup, an international event showcasing the sixes format of the game that will be utilized for the LA28 Olympics. The United States will welcome top international lacrosse teams, including the men’s and women’s teams from Canada and the Haudenosaunee Nation, from Sept. 26-28 for three days of intense competition.

USA Lacrosse today announced the high school girls’ coaches from each geographic area selected as winners of the 2025 Coach of the Year Awards. The award honors a girls’ lacrosse head coach in each area who exemplifies the ideals of the game of lacrosse.

The award is intended to recognize the individual’s overall coaching performance and contribution, not just coaching wins - although they may be considered. Nominees must demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship on and off the field, and also demonstrate excellent rapport with their players, officials, and other coaches.

AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The United States rode an explosive offense to beat Canada 21-11 in the inaugural Pan-American Women’s Lacrosse Championship at Lake Myrtle Sports Park. Thirteen different players scored goals for the U.S. in a game it led from start to finish.

Canada battled the U.S. tough on the draw with the teams coming to an 18-18 stalemate and that kept things tight for much of the game. The U.S. jumped out to a 4-1 lead early and scored the last three goals of the first half to take an 11-5 lead.

USA Lacrosse today announced the high school boys selected as winners of the 2025 Bob Scott Award. Named in honor of the legendary coach and member of the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame, these awards recognize one male senior player from each area who goes ‘above and beyond’ in service to his team, school, and community.
