SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse is proud to announce a new multi-year collaboration with Farmers Insurance as the “Official Insurance Provider” of the organization. 

Farmers® will offer an expansive portfolio of auto, home, renters, life, business and specialty insurance products that will be available to USA Lacrosse members.

USA Lacrosse is excited to celebrate the sport of lacrosse this fall from Nov. 6-14, 2021. National Celebrate Lacrosse Week will offer daily themes throughout the event to bring the lacrosse community together virtually and in person to help showcase this special game.

Part of this initiative is to make the sport of lacrosse more welcoming, diverse and inclusive. We welcome all individuals from every walk of life to come and experience a sport that has so much opportunity for all youth.

Of the 2,977 people who were killed in the terrorist attacks Sept. 11, 2001, 75 had known connections to lacrosse.

USA Lacrosse honors their memory with a 9/11 Memorial Garden that overlooks Tierney Field at its headquarters in Sparks, Md., as well as with an exhibit in the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Museum that includes a piece of steel recovered from the World Trade Center.

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has introduced two new membership categories — a 6U membership and a young adult membership.

The 6U membership is designed as an introduction to the organization and is discounted to a price of $15 annually. The young adult category is for individuals aged 19 to 22 and is discounted to the same rate as the high school category at $35 annually.

SPARKS, Md. — Marc Riccio, an experienced sports, media and technology executive with strong ties to the sport has been named CEO of USA Lacrosse. Riccio was selected after a nationwide search done in partnership by the USA Lacrosse Board of Directors and Prodigy Search, a renowned nationwide leader in senior-level executive search.

The boys’ lacrosse team at Martinsburg High School was undoubtedly West Virginia’s best in 1977, but they weren’t exactly feared by the other teams in the Mountain State.

That’s because, in 1977, Martinsburg was the only high school lacrosse team in West Virginia.

SPARKS, Md. — US Lacrosse is proud to partner with One Bowl Productions, the Iroquois Nationals, Thompson Brothers Lacrosse, and 4 the Future Foundation on a free streaming experience of the award-winning documentary “Spirit Game: Pride of a Nation.”

The celebrated feature length documentary was produced in 2017 and called by Inside Lacrosse as “the most ambitious, broad-sweeping and beautifully shot lacrosse film to date.”
